I can't find my original post to update it but I read today that the guy who bought out Partick and put millions into the ground, training facilities, youth set up etc has died just months after his takeover.

Tragic news, a lifetime fan he owned 'his' club for just a short time

Him and his missus were apparently split up, which is real shame when you get to that age (70’s), but it does beg the question where his £80m share will go to now.....

Indeed, but I bet he felt great for that short time. And will never be forgotten there,,,and fondly remembered.

Fair play to the guy put money in to his local club with no strings attached rip to the fella
