Not got full team yet but understand that Wright is in for Green and Hendrie in for Hewitt

Two possitive changes. Here's hoping.

Robson in for Whitehouse, gives us a bit of something in midfield if he plays to his potential.
Good to see how Wright and Hendrie interlink, hoping to get some decent into the box for Hanson today.

Fair play to you and the rest of the faithful for making the journey. Personally I've never felt such levels of apathy

Amazed Waterfall has kept his place TBH. Let’s hope he’s dropping the 4-3-3 this week.

You having a laugh herts?... Waterfall has been our most consistent centre half...
And 4-3-3 is what AL prefers so that WILL be the formation..

Well at least we hit the target

Good start this. Davis headed in and ruled out for offside (no idea if it was or not) and Hanson hit the outside of the post with a header from a stood up Robson cross. Possibly should've done better

We need to start putting away these chances.
Posted by: Mayaman, December 14, 2019, 3:12pm; Reply: 16
FFS.  Not running for us.  Was that offside when the ball was kicked.  Looked like Davies timed his run. (hard to tell on ifollow) Moments later , hit the post. Come on town.  Keep your heads up.

Posted by: Mayaman, December 14, 2019, 3:39pm; Reply: 23
Lost the impetus already.  Green had it and turned back when he should have driven forward.

Hanson off for Vernam following an injury. Really could of done with Ogbu not being ill now.
Posted by: Abdul19, December 14, 2019, 3:46pm; Reply: 26
Hanson off (shin injury maybe?) and Vernam on. Green on his own through the middle, which is better than Cardwell I suppose
Posted by: sonofmadeleymariner, December 14, 2019, 3:46pm; Reply: 27
What was Vernam doing! Shocking, putting the ball out of play like that.

Posted by: Abdul19, December 14, 2019, 3:47pm; Reply: 29
Awful touch by Vernam. flipping hell. Should've shot but must've wanted it on his left foot - tried to go around the keeper but booted it out of play

We could have had 3 goals in that first half,  done everything but score. But Vernham wtf!!!!!

It’s essential we get a good result today before Saturday’s derby game.
Posted by: Mayaman, December 14, 2019, 3:52pm; Reply: 33
By far the better side.  Vernam did the wrong thing.  Turn inside or shoot.  To be fair , it was his first touch.  We have the wind in this half
Posted by: TAGG, December 14, 2019, 3:52pm; Reply: 34
Lets call it a draw and go home now
Posted by: Madeleymariner, December 14, 2019, 3:53pm; Reply: 35
Best chance we have had in weeks and Vernam blows it, Still playing quite well, look more dangerous than Carlisle and a couple of really good chances created. No one having a bad game, think today will come down to pure luck and it doesn't seem, to be on our side at the moment.
Posted by: sonofmadeleymariner, December 14, 2019, 3:58pm; Reply: 36
Good first half, the balls just not dropping for us in the box once again is it. hopefully the wind can be our friend in the 2nd half and we can get Max running in behind their back 3.

Finishing is not part of Hess’s game is it. Was it really Stevenage away when we last scored in the league?
Posted by: Abdul19, December 14, 2019, 4:10pm; Reply: 38
Finally a shot on target! Nice play by Hendrie into Green but Hessenthaler's shot straight at the keeper

well both teams have had some good chances and both teams could have certainly scored! if there is a winner in this game then I hink the other team will look back at those missed chances. We have certainly had the better of the chances and if Vernam wants to play more he really needs to be doing better, 1 on 1 and he did not even get a shot away and ran the ball out when trying to take it round the keeper! lets hope the second half is like the first and fingers crossed we can put a chance away, with Stevenage and Macc winning so far we could do with 3 points today

Can't knock the effort this week.  Ball just not falling right.  Disallowed goal, post, bar and shaved the post.  When a team are playing with confidence, they'd all go in.

Not a bad point, should have been 3
Carlisle not v good
We will have to play a lot better than that to get anything next week.

Still feel we need a new manager, should have won this with the chances but also could have lost it with their lad who hit the underside of the bar, a draw on the balance is what it is.

Pleased with the clean sheet but we still need more conviction going forward and more drive from midfield.

How did we not win that? We were by far the better side today, but we just didn't get the rub of the green in the box did we.

Thought Green had his best game in a Town shirt tonight, but Waterfall was my MoM he was all over Carisle tonight.

As you were really with Stevenage conceding late and Macc losing their lead. On a more positive note, we now only need 29 points to get to the 50 mark.  :-/

Thought I would suffer and watch the whole match on IPTV(i-follow).
Really should have scored but we are where we are. A struggling side without a cutting edge.
Think I could have scored with the chance Vernan had. Really poor finishing.

Oh well, on to the local derby and Hurst's chance for another ear cupping session.

Feel a right old tonking coming on next week. Hopefully not a 6-0 thrashing because the Scunts could count all of their goals on one hand!

??) ??)
