Just tonight left Swansea under 23. Left with a heavy heart to persue another challange. Son of John. Seems like he has some experience.

Already been mentioned on the "New Manager" thread pages 33/34

Apparently he's off to Paphos FC   :)

Thanks PP I just saw he was one of the favourites in the betting looked him up and saw he'd just left Swansea. Put 2+2 together and made 5 I suppose. Thought I had a scoop.

I believe he's got an eye for players from the Far East

If he came, it would be a bigger drawback than an elephants foreskin

I'd be very happy with this. Clearly faced challenges in his personal life but has come through and brings a wealth of experience in other areas and departments. Not to mention he's been heavily involved with Swanses over the years who are well known and have aa philosophy of playing attractive football throughout their club.

It shows how desperate things are at GTFC towers, that we are still discussing a man who i had never heard of this time last week, who has already taken a job with a team few knew existed.

Surely calling them Turkish would be the real problem?!

Seems a very similar scenario to the last person we gave the job to Ginny. He must be right up our street!!

I went to Mablethorpe once for holiday and told everybody I'd been to Cyprus

I don't know, there used to be Turkish Cypriot enclaves in most large towns in Cyprus.  I was posted to Cyprus in the Army just before the War, and I lived in Limassol, right next to a Turkish quarter.  I would imagine after the war in 1974 that they all left though, unless anyone knows different?
