At least we have not lost out on a plum tie in round 3 of fa cup this time.
Ok we didn't get the £100k that came Newports way, but who would want to go to Millwall when we can play against Mansfield in the league instead.

We might have done as we probably wouldnt have been the same number as Newport so might have played someone else.

Something personal to him that any reasonable employer would have taken time to ensure their member of staff was properly looked after.

Slade played him in every pre season game and surprise surprise picked up a bad injury.

Didn’t want to stay/play for us couldn’t handle being a full time pro and missed home, as bad as Slade was anyone who doesn’t want to be here shouldn’t be at the club simples

Slade wanted rid of all bignuts signings and got his way wether by not using them or playing a style not suited to them even if they weren't worldbeaters they were better than the dross he brought in

I accept the OP is tongue-in-cheek but they're not so poor ( financially ) thanks to Podge

Who's to say they can't get past Millwall which would give them another £135K... they do seem to know what they are doing when it comes to the cup
