Think I'll give it a miss rather watch Swansea Vs Fulham...at least that'll be entertaining..

I was really looking forward to this game IF town had made it through.
I will still watch it and see Podge score a few ( still hate Hurst for pissing him off )
Newport will then get a cracking draw in R3,
It could have been us. :B

When the ad came on the BEEB earlier it put me in a foul mood again, I was seething after the cup loss, normally losing spoils the rest of the day for me but it had me in a bad mood all week thinking about the likely loss of much needed revenue, and had just about put it to the back of my mind before the tonights ad. Would normally watch a game like this but I can't stomach it tonight.(dwarf) In fact as I type I can feel the agravation welling up.

And there you have it, Amond scores right at the death to probably put Newport through.

Why the
intercourse did we let a striker that scored 37-odd goals for us slip through our fingers after one season?

He can’t score in the FA Cup either. Or against Man City.

Bit unfair to Hagrid as he has openly admitted on here recently that he is taking time out after suffering from mental health problems.

Maldon & Tiptree were the most enterprising side in this tie, but yet again, Newport found one great pass (when it mattered) to Amond and he did the rest. Grrrr!

What’s happened to all the fornicators on here who said that Amond couldn’t hack it at this level.? And said he was a flat track bully. And the experts who pointed out get never scored many against the top four’ in the Conference as evidence?
Kudos if you own up to it.

The whole Amond saga will live with me as one of the strangest decisions in this club's history and my God theres been a few! We should have been bending over backwards to keep him at the club, he was happy here, scoring bags of goals and the fans loved him FFS! Just look at some of the dross weve had in his position since, he's a natural goalscorer and a poacher and we'd love that right now

Kicks you in the teeth even harder when you read the match report on BBC as it states "the former Grimsby Town striker"...
Don't want to live in the oast, but imaging Podge alongside Hanson makes me salivate... shame he left because he certainly was a fans favourite..😣😣

I know....but it's eye wateringly awful to watch....it might be "successful" but there is no way I could watch that as an approach on to how to play week in week out.
I have missed games of our own when we were heading down that route....just hope whoever comes in can strike a balance between style and regularly not losing

Newport certainly play ugly but effective football. No way I could stomach that every week even if we were winning.
40 goal a season striker pfft like we should push the boat out to keep one of them! 😲🤤😭

Another what could have been:
If we had not escaped NL: Wrexham are now bottom of the National League, 6 points off safety.
They got 98 points a few seasons ago and still did not go up.
If we were still in the NL abyss, then we could have declined in a similar way. God forbid.

Hurst did the same thing when he went to Ipswich,
Their 20 goal striker was waiting to see who Hurst brought in before resigning,
Hurst said if he takes much longer to decide he might find we do not want him.
So he went to Derby.

Jumped up 2nd rate managers can't be controlling towards players nowadays-with agents and what have you they just tell them to suck a Zube.
