Absolutely embarrassing. Seriously how do these players get paid?

Dare i even say i could accept a Slade hoof into channels or into the strikers feet but we don't even do that. It's a aimless hoof forward to noone. Its not even like it's now and again to get out of trouble, its everytime we have it.
Disgraceful and embarrassing. Never seen so poor 'forward play' even on a Saturday afternoon amateur football.

If slade came back we’re going non league if Limbrick stays were non league we need a experienced head to keep us dropping out the league

Can i just add i in no way want slade back here. Just merely saying his tactics of hoofing to Jones to play in Reddy or the channel balls is better than that excrement I've just seen.

Makes me livid that we have Cardwell on the pitch and Vernam is out on loan to the conference.

disgrace

The general view from opposing teams is that we are one of the poorest around.

I never want to watch anything like that ever again. Not sure what it was meant to be, but I know it was terrible. Jolley, Fenty, Farage, that game... I’m over it all. What a mess.

Too many passengers in the side and on that showing,  I can't see any reasons why Limbrick should be offered the job full time.

It feels like we have experienced all this before, lost 8 on the bounce and very few players to change a losing mindset.

Their manager said after the home game we were the poorest team they had played.

I invest so much nervous energy in this team. I was following the game on the computer looking at the score every five minutes. Doing well I thought at HT. Hope was rising, then we conceded. Didn’t look again until the 91st min and saw the red card. Went downstairs and told the Mrs ‘that’s it, cannot waste so much mental worry on them anymore’. Then saw it was even worse at 2-0 on Sky news. They let in another in the time it took to gown down a flight of stairs.
I have watched and followed this club for 64 years. I’ve been in BP with crowds of 16000. I was brought up on stories of Jackie Bestall. idolised Ron Rafferty. The club has a great history and tradition which is being trashed. We should be a good League 1 side at least playing good attractive football. If we go down this season I cannot see us getting back. A very disappointing night and one to forget.

Ha. But they didn't beat us at BP...what he really means it that Newport are only marginally less shite than us.

But tonight we made that bunch of cloggers look like Barcelona.

While I agree we were shocking in the second half, and the football was awful and mistake laden I think the Limbrick out campaign is a bit premature. We were the better of two poor sides in the first half. We had the better chances. On a few occasions we played passing one touch football on the deck in the attacking third. They could be seen as positive initial signs for a squad low on confidence that will take time to improve, if you really wanted to be glass half full.

Didnt watch it live as i was at 5 a side myself tonight, i avoided the score, kept my phone off , got home started watching the whole game at about 9:45....

Fking awful doesnt cut it, not sure there any adjectives that could do the sheer awfulness of that justice.

Have no idea who was playing where, what formation, system we were employing....with Hanson we have been a bit one dimensional and over using the direct ball to him...without him tonight we suprised everyone by playing balls directly to wherever any town players weren't.

If that is all the reaction, tactical nouse, impetus, impact Limbrick can inject ( irrespective of the limited time he has had ) then he isnt the man for the job.

I really am struggling to think of a worse display with the ball that i have ever witnessed from a town team.

After it finished i turned my phone back on and found messages telling me not to bother watching  ;D

Empathy for the few who travelled down....they all deserve medals for enduring that.

Yet that even wasn’t enough to spur them on. It would have been me. I’d have wanted to shove those words down the sheep pleasers mouth.

They were awful so what does that say about us, at least we had Mr Fenty  on at half time telling us about the good times he brought us during his time in charge.

Makes me livid how they had Podge and we had Cardwell. What a monumental balls up that was, its old hat but still riles me.

Another relegation battle, can’t see is staying up this year.

First half we was the better team, not great but yes we was better.
Second half we couldnt keep the ball in midfield, they were bullied out of it and gave up like wimpy kids.
Robson - do like him but his service was abysmal.
Hewit - been clear for some time the guy is not a midfileder but then agaain Whitehouse and Clifton are wee below par.

WE NEED MIDFIELDERS. rest of the team is decent.

I’m not convinced the whole side are bad it’s just that our mid field is possibly the worst I’ve seen for a long long time.

We haven’t lost 8 on the bounce.

We’re crap, but we’re not THAT crap.

I caught the beginning of the Burnsy show this morning...

As usual, he just couldn't help but have a pop at us

He was talking about the Grimsby Telegraph features today and one was about the walking football initiative to which he said he'd been watching some of that on BBC Wales last night

To be fair if he was on the Sportstalk show giving his opinion he might have had a point but so much for the "unbiased" viewpoint of RH.... this was on his daily current affairs / news phone-in show.

A low shot if you ask me - I wonder if Jolley or Fenty heard his snide comment?   :-/

What DB thinks of the game is the least of our worries.

You’re probably right Arry

On a thread entitled Embarrassing though and with the departure of Jolley seemingly stemming from RH negativity, it caught my attention that this has clearly not changed despite JF giving his best shot of an olive branch only on Monday just gone

I expect if we don’t improve out on the pitch then such sniping from the north bank will no doubt escalate

If Jolley going stemmed from RH negativity he was in the wrong job to start with, but then he always did think the media was his own personal fiefdom.

Can't stand Burnsey but I have to say, having watched last night's debacle, comparing us to walking football is almost witty for him.

would that be the olive branch offered the day after he had a swipe at them in part 1 of his video message ?

Until JF is out of the picture there won't be any sweet relations with RH.

The club keep giving RH negative things to report on. We are on a negative run of form, playing a negative style of football, in a negative position in the league and finishing 1 position further up the league hardly constitutes progress, in fact it reeks of stagnation at best.

Oh I wish this board would just leave and put us out of our misery

What is the point of a relegation struggle year in year out. I realise, in football, anyone can struggle from time to time but this has gone on for far too long now

It does make you wonder if it is just better to start all over again rather than to constantly put up with this

The fans quite simply deserve better. Where else would you part with hard earned money to be non entertained?

Burnsy's right though, it was garbage.

Start playing well and push up the league(s) then Radio Hull won't have any ammunition to use against us and will have to begrudgingly get aboard the positivity bandwagon.

Simple.
