Seeing as we haven't got a game......

Carlisle are the only team that can leapfrog us in the table today.

After a bright start under the Cowleys Lincoln are starting to struggle in league 1, only 2 points out of a possible last 12.

Hope Scunny lose at Orient   :)

Ha! Shudda warmed me fingers on me flask. CV just skinned three players and put it across the box.  Centre mid for Chorley always available , plays it simple and spots the runs. Chorley no 9 wins free kicks but no pace. CV looking sharp against slow defence.

Northampton 4-1 up against Crewe, I would take Keith Curle anytime, he knows what he's doing at this level.

So, has he found his level or do Chorley play a different style/formation then us that suits him?

Watching Sky sports where there is a reporter at Gillingham. In the background you can see the away end with about 300 Lincoln fans and a lot of empty seats.

What happened to their massive away following?

He's now playing for a manager whose instructions / tactics he understands!

Lincoln are moving steadily to the relegation area. They lost again today.

Barrow won 3-0 at Notts County (who are well-placed) to go top of the National League.  Some suggested that the Barrow manager should be considered for us.

Wrexham still in the bottom 4, Chesterfield just above the bottom 4.

One of two up top given freedom to switch and drop off to receive from two good midfielders. The fluidity suited him well. He ran twice as far as the other guy and took wide positions so Chorley could probe down the sides. After an even start and some aerial pressure from Chesterfield trying to play off Denton, he made a run between two defenders for a chip forward, cushioned the ball and slotted home in Vardy style.
His second was harder to see from 100 metres away but seemed like he robbed a player on the edge of the box and was felled. Tucked the pen home in the bottom corner.
Chorley played some composed possession at 2-0 and worked some good opportunities. Charles had a couple of close shots before being subbed after 82 minutes. Easy to see how they have scored so few goals as they have no physical presence up front or wingers to go past players. They do play it on the deck however, and have an intelligent centre mid (no. 7 ) who plays it simple to feet and controls the tempo.
Well worth a look on BT tonight.
