What, even if we're bottom by the New Year?! If he can get a tune out of these players in the next 3 games, then so be it, but otherwise the board should be interviewing night and day. I await a joke about Ian Knight and Mervyn Day now.........

I dunno about this...woods failed last time out not because he wasn't capable it was due to the shower of sh!te that was a so called squad...
If one man knows this club it's Neil Woods, doing good things with the youth at the moment..
All that said Jolley did well with the youth at Burnley and look how that's turned out so maybe I've just answered my own question..

Yep. Thank
intercourse he signed Connell, otherwise that season could have been very long.

In Woodsy's defence, it achieved the exact same league position as the squad Hurst & Scott built for their first season in charge.
Bit of a pointless thread anyway really as I wouldn't think NW would be considered, or even be interested in the post.

Same league position but from what I remember woods had a much bigger budget.

So he failed to manage the drinking then?

Do he failed to manage the drinking then?
Let’s be a little bit fair about all this, he can only manage it so far.

Give it a rest arry, he took a squad on with an in built culture of drinking and not giving a toss about playing football, certainly not for GTFC...he was stupid to think he could change it but credit where credits due, if he gave his best
excrement in the interests of the club.... I'm just thankful he's come back and doing good things with the youth set up and rebuilding his status within the club and the fans

That must be right because Scott said he didn't have any "fackin' manny"
