Just shows you some stats mean F all. Was brilliant in August, much less effective in September and the same as everyone else in October, rubbish. I think he has not looked the same since that penalty miss against Crewe.

Will it end up like the famous (or at least to me) Johnny Rowan miss against Forest back in 2001 when we drew 0-0. Was never the same player after that and was soon playing in the Unibond Premier just a few years later.

Oh christ yeah, stuck it over the bar from a yard out. Think that was the first game of a run of 1 win in 20 or something.

(we seem to have a lot of these sort of runs)

At least that run was in the 2nd tier. It just makes it so much worse when you go 20 odd games without winning twice in a 6/7 years in Div 4. That in itself is a pretty difficult feat.

I think that under JF's secure (but finance-oriented rather than fan-oriented) stewardship we managed to beat a fairly impressive
winless streak record...and then better it the next season!

We've been spoiled rotten, we have...

If you read what it says about his stats it does beg the question as to whether the issue is with Hanson or the players around him. Has he really been underperforming or is it the system and the negative way the team has been set up?

The system for sure. How many quality crosses have we put in? How many players run in beyond him? He may have not hit the heights of the first month, but his teammates certainly haven’t helped.

I can't even think of a corner that went to Hanson's head.

Well according to d3d4, Hanson has won 60 more aerial challenges than anyone else in League 2 and Waterfall is 6th on the list. Says quite a lot.

Hanson wins the balls that are pumped up to him, it's not his fault there's no player within 10 yards of him.

Hanson will have supply resumed when Max Wright is fit again to beat players and bang in some crosses.

Will Max Wright be back for the games this week do we know?? The players need to step up now and let loose - play like the shackles are off and just go for it - play with some purpose and intent - they are footballers and they know what to do - somehow recently they looked like football was a foreign game to them
