We won't get through to the next round but Ipswich at home would do me, could be on TV and Pete and Ipswin could give Jolley some inside information ;)

Those fixtures don't include the results of yesterday's games.

I'll be very surprised if we progress too.
Our last 6 visits to Newport have yielded a total of NIL goals!!

Have confidence my friend-don't forget the law of averages we must win sometime. I have been saying that ever since I bought my 1st Lotto ticket

If a miracle happens and we beat Newport the Maldon & Tiptree v Town game would be a good bet to be on the telly.

Let's have some positivity
Beat Newport, then on telly
Then beat the jam makers and into round 3
Anything can happen from there.
Only team left in my list to play town is Man U
Then don't care
;D

Let's hope we don't win at Newport, the whole world (well England) will be watching the game live on TV and I couldn't bare the shame and I would have to burn my shirts and scarves as I wouldn't want to walk around where I live wearing them if we lost to whoever the frig they are.

Maldon & Tiptree before they play us: they're a league team so they'll want to get it down and play it
Jolley: hold my beer

Even closer for me
It's a tiny ground and the capacity is only 2800 so not sure how many tickets we will get

None. Newport might get a few though.

The ground is in Maldon - small town south west of Colchester. Nice place really on the Blackwater River.
Tiptree is a bit further way - there a jam factory there

Between Southend and Clacton.

Family in Sarfend so when we beat Newport on penalties I'll be there at Maldon for the match before we play Man.City at home.

Looking forward to seeing Sam Jones for Harrogate...once this game eventually kicks off....will he be a hungry player looking for the opportunity to move up or will he look like the brooding sulkster we last saw.

If Ticklers was still on the go we could have the Jam factory. Instead we could end up in a pickle.

We think weve got a backlog now!
Wait til next season and we're playing in the cup winners cup. Bloody Thursday nights playing teams from awful countries like Azerbajan, Romania and Scotland in qualifiers.

The Tomato Ketchup is just as good. Wilkins have a chain of cafes all over Essex where they serve the stuff. The one at Heybridge Basin is worth a visit.

Not sure that we are good enough to play 2 teams at once, even if they well down the NL pyramid.

Just started watching it, nearly 9.30pm and still playing the first half.....the Portsmouth fans will be getting home later than we did when we played Chelsea.
Portsmouth take the lead.

Considering the distance, there's a fair few from pompy. God knows what time they'll be getting home.

The thing is, financially winning the replay is massive, with prize money, then more prize money with probable TV money (As we should be able to beat Maldon & Tiptree), and poss lucrative tie in 3rd round It could mean giving Fenty another £250K of his loan back.

I'd say it's exactly the same incentive as we had last Saturday..... the fact that we spurned the opportunity to boost our finances irks me as much as the safety-first tactics of the second half that ultimately backfired

The local sides taunt Maldon and Tiptree by singing (to the tune of "Daydream Believer")
Maldon and Tiptree
Oh what can it be
To be caught in the middle
of a Jam Factory
let's hope we get the change to do it too

No it's naff. Lets stick to the old '
excrement ground no fans' and scaring the
excrement out of both stewards
Seriously we aren't going to Maldon and Tiptree in the near future anyway

If we do beat Newport it wont be a pushover at The Wallace Binder- Maldon and Tiptree besides winning every game in the Fa Cup and FA Trophy have 100% record after 8 games in the Isthmian League. Brimming with confidence.
