Just got back from watching GTFC women win 6-3 against Barton Utd ladies.  Despite the weather there were quite a few there (400+ I'd guess).  Anyone who went expecting a feast of football was in the wrong place but it was an entertaining game and obviously lots of goals. The GTFC ladies did themselves proud and should be applauded for their efforts (as should the Barton girls who never gave up as well).  Ladies - hats off to you, onwards and upwards.

I watched my local ladies side two weeks back. The game is/was much slower but some of them can pick out a pass! I enjoyed it and I hope women's football continues to grow.
