One month into the season already!!

And I dont think we can moan at all really about the start to the season we have made, , , 7 games completed and just the one defeat , , , not bad at all

Looking back to our start last season we ended August with 5 points, , , , 1 win and 2 draws , , , this season , , , , 11 points , , , , 3 wins and 2 draws

And the main reason, , , goals scored! MJ has addressed the problems, , , last August scored 5 , , , , this season , , , , scored 13!!

I know still early days and dont like to judge until 10/12 games in but the early signs are good and we could be in store for a very exciting season

Looking ahead to September it certainly does not get any easier!! Do wish we didn't have this FL Trophy but i'm sure MJ will use it to play the fringe players and the yoof

We also have a potential Tuesday / Saturday / Tuesday / Saturday / Tuesday / Saturday / Tuesday or Wednesday / Saturday so that's one busy month ahead!

We will definitely be in a position to judge at the end of September and will know more of whats in store for the remaining months - if we are in and around the Top 10 we will all be happy Mariners - hold on tight as always it's going to be one hell of a ride

For the trophy don't you have to use 5 players who have played the league game before or the league game after in order to avoid a fine? Or has that been changed?

That won’t be a problem with our squad. It’s also maybe the reason MJ made the substitutions he did against Walsall.

So in less than a month;

We are top scorers.  Having scored at least 3 goals more than all teams (bar Swindon - 2 goals).

We have the best goal-difference (by 2).

We have got more points, after being a goal down, than we got ALL last season?

We have the top individual goal-scorer.

Nearly every team we have played have been in the top 7 at some time this season.  This includes Donney, who were in the top 7 of Div 1.  (And we beat them).

We are still in the EFL Cup and have the possibility of a money-making tie at Chelsea (pot 1 for CL, whilst Real Madrid were in pot 2).

Still settling in new players.

Got a loan-player today in a position that needed strengthening.

Not bad for starters!

How much is the fine? Didn't Luton just pay the fine(s) one year?

Was it Luton who started their first team goalie to make up the number required but he had a mysterious injury after a few minutes and had to be subbed  8) he was ok to play the next game tho!
