We were I've got to admit but wonder if he went to any of the local bars before the game... he might have had a good time singing along with the rest of us even if the football on offer was forgettable

Imagine how it is for his father with divided loyalties in the family.

I mean. Married to a Barnsley lass!

I hope the PR Department have sent him a Town shirt after all of the great publicity he has given us. Would be good to see him photographed in his Town shirt before this Ashes series ends.

Great idea. I noticed that Spurs sent Ben Stokes a shirt with his name and number on and they got a bit of publicity from that.

We could get a photo of our own Aussie Limbrick printing the name on the shirt in the club shop.

I have to say though, if itโ€™s AFTER a test match. I hope heโ€™s looking pretty glum ๐Ÿ˜‰

In that case we could suggest that we have delivered the shirt to cheer him up! ;D

They interviwed him on TMS during the tea interval today. Grimsby had sent him a Town mug with his name on and...... a letter! They asked him if he could pose with the mug..... maybe a shirt would be better to pose in than next to a mug!

He said he had been to watch Town a few times and the last time is car had the rear window smashed in.... must have been away fans!

he did say a bit more about his dad going to see family while he was here and getting a caravan etc but I needed to vacate my bowels so was in a rush to get to the toilets in Sainsburys toilets in Kettering! Why do they have those toilet rolls where you can only pull on sheet off at once... what use is that.... tight arsez!!

Thatโ€™s unfair in the circumstances Herts. Criticism like that is just , well, just not cricket.

Non football?

Us and England were both 0-2 earlier so it counts as football!
