Maybe the gods playing tricks on us but fancy us getting a biggy away any of the big 6 will do , would make the rearranged fixture a decent gate aswell

Just our luck would be a decent team at home that would normally be televised but because of the lateness of knowing who goes through  it isn't and we miss out on a potential payday

But that tie would be 'league something or other minnow' versus BIG club - sky wouldn't be that arsed whether it was us or Macc.

If it's Burton away, hope we behave better than last time we were there.

Any idea when the replay will be?

I would imagine Tuesday 10th September is the only viable date given that R3 is the wc Monday 23rd September and our fixtures with Scunny (next Tuesday) & Salford on 17th Sep.

Seems a bit late to re-arrange for tonight which seemed the most logical time given that we’ve got a midweek game next week and would risk delaying the competition further. The club are also promoting the EFLT tie next week.

Are Macclesfield still having a winding-up hearing for HMRC debt? The 11th September I think.

It will be good to play them again especially after they have just beaten the Imps.
