The forum site has been down between 04:40 and 10:10 BST. We are still looking into the causes.

The cause has been identified as a transient database issue. Occasionally there are brief periods during the night when the backups take place which interferes with the site. It looks like it was probably connected to this. Hopefully, it was a one-off.

I would have switched it off, and on again. Usually works for my Betamax VCR.

Maybe a good idea to put a few servers on top of the white palm tree when it arrives
