Just looking for views on this.

As you all know I have run a prediction league on here for a fair few seasons now but a couple of people have mentioned about charging to enter the competition this time around with either a monetary or Town related prize for the winner.

What I want to know is would you still enter if there was a nominal charge (say £5) to enter or shall I keep it free as I have done since I began running it.

I’d prefer it free Les but if the majority want a prize I’d be happy to pay a £5 fee mate no problem

Happy to go with the majority les but happy to put in a fiver. Maybe small prize for winner with the rest going to the club e.g. youth set up or similar. Win win.

I hate people who interfere when someone is running something.
But......

How about, those that want to pay do so.  And those that don’t, don’t.

Then. BEFORE the knockout stage the highest placed person out of those who have paid takes the pot.

I’m in either way. But no fee does give those who still want to have some fun without a cost can do so.

Les
All these different compos totally confuse me but I think the prediction league is what I was in last season so yes, £5 for me if that's the majority view

I am sure it has worked wonderfully well for years  so don't change anything,

BUT

If you do I think Les deserves some payment for all the hours of hard work he puts in over the course of the season.

He does it for the joy. I've said to him if or when ii see him next I'll buy him a pint for the efforts he puts in on here (the offer is still there Les, im sure we will bump into each other sooner or later!)... I think if Les has the patience doing as Civvy Said is a good idea. (Ps I'd pay £5)
