Not long now, exciting isn't it?

why's it a bad away start? Morecambe are hardly the most threatening side (now watch ellison bang a couple in!) and a nice away day by the seaside

Talking of which Exeter away is the end of September - luvverly-jubberly!

Scunny (H) the Saturday before Xmas. I think there is a "slight" chance that will be an early kick-off....

Stay out from Mad Friday the night before and you won’t need to struggle to find a pub for a pint beforehand. That’s my 30th birthday weekend too so hopefully Town don’t intercourse it up for me.

Salford away would have to be a bloody midweek game wouldn't it.

Only League 2 ground I haven't been to but doubt I'll be able to make it midweek.

Unfortunately, what's poor planning for the vast majority of Town fans is only a two and a half hour jaunt down the M6 for me. I'll be there. Depending on our League Cup draw, will hopefully be at Morecambe again - it's virtually a home game. Rotten, overpriced pies though....

I think we’ll take 1000 to Morecambe... Always a nice way to start the season

Bit of a long gap between the last league game and the fa Cup final, I'm worried we'll lose our momentum

A game on February 29th!

Not often that's happened over the years I wouldn't think.

Morecambe away is as good as it gets for a couple of us.
We're at Rebellion that weekend, just down the coast in Blackpool, it's about eight notes on the choo choo.

Blackpool will be extra busy that weekend, Bristol Rovers playing there on the Saturday so could be a few staying over.

Probably be an early kick off.....an away day by the seaside for them....our first home game.....been a while.....Hanson vs old club......all ingredients for a spicy day

Bratfud will probably sell out, at least they ought to.  The club need to be targeting this as a sell-out and make sure they have the Fan Zone, food trucks and lots of activities on at the ground to really engage the fans, improve the match day experience, and start as they mean to go on.

We have only had had 2 home boxing day fixtures since 2008, 11 seasons!
Conspiracy theory 1.  JF /GTFC ask for away fixtures to reduce police / wages costs

Not sure how the wages costs would be more but surely the extra revenue would cover the extra policing costs?

I thought we asked for an away day Boxing Day so it helps with Market Rasen races.

When we were non-league the club requested away fixtures because of a supposed clash with Market Rasen races..(Yes I know we usually played Lincoln ☺)
