Another good save from Dean Henderson.  BBC say "give him the MOM now".

(Can we claim a share of the credit in his development)?

10 men could not hold on.  Hate late goals (against us).

What was Choudhury thinking of for the second penalty though?  Absolutely stupid challenge and then he seemed to be shocked with both the penalty and the red card.

I agree, it was a horrendous challenge.  I think both decisions were correct, unfortunately.

I think Wan-Bissaka has been incredible in the Premier League this season, but he made some errors tonight.  His tackling is stupendous but his distribution was dodgy, and that own goal will haunt that squad now.  I can't see England going though now.

France looked very good going forward, but England should have been 2 or 3 up before they got into the game.  The 1st 20 minutes or so was very impressive by England, just lacking that killer edge.  This is often the way with England.  It would appear that this 'England DNA' thing the FA keep talking about is very much in place, and the complete mirror opposite of what England used to do; it's now effectively producing skilfull players who can pass and retain the ball really well, but ultimately we lose possession in defence and concede daft goals.
