Chelsea legend I know but I am still suprised he looks nailed on for that particular job so early in his management career?

Being English the World is his oyster should he do well a potential England manager for the future.

Had a decent enough season at Derby but joining a club who will be expected to be challenging for the title with no transfers will be a challenge for the most proven manager.

Few Lincoln fans are already worried about the brothers being linked with Derby!

Very commutable from Lincoln.

They probably should be however such is the modern game far more likely to be some exotic overseas coach nobody has heard of or one off the merry go round. Tony Pulis for example

I think it's a great opportunity for Frank.  He can turn the transfer embargo on it's head by giving the youth a chance.

He's got Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi coming back around November.

He's got Mason Mount, who he knows well.

He could recall Victor Moses.

Tammy Abraham is coming back from a good loan period.

Danny Drinkwater is still on the books - maybe he rates him whereas Sarri did not?

I think they'll do well.

A transfer embargo might force them to stop hoovering up young talent just to keep within the rules and to stop them going to other clubs and actually give them some game time.

I think Nigel Adkins has a better chance than the brothers Grimm.
More experience at higher levels

Been a while since I've heard Victor Moses described as youth!

You’ve got me there, but I didn’t mean it for him! I just think he’s a quality unused player on their books. He was great under Conte.

And I’m fully aware that Drinkwater is nearly 30 too. My god, he’s wasted his career there.

Denis Wise doesn't seem to want Lampard. He failed to get Derby promoted and that 'ain't good enough for Chelsea'.

Hint of jealousy from the little man?
