If he stays fit I am hoping that we see the best of Cook this season. Every time he has a decent game its come after a settled run and then unfortunately gets a another injury. Pretty sure there is a decent footballer in there and could fit into that advance midfield role.
If Hanson (or Cook) signs this wouldnt look to bad as things go at the moment.

Please not 3-5-2 please! Hendrie and Ring just ain't wing backs.

Vernam is a goalscorer… lets not just forget about him

I dont think vernam is a goalscorer. Much rather have him in the role behind the strikers

Agree with Ring but tough on Hendrie .

The one thing I've always liked about Cook is his terrier like attitude, always harrying defenders and, when fit, seems to have a good engine on him..

Subs bench is a bit lightweight.

Tough, but he is a really good fullback at this level, to me you play the formation which gets the best out of the players you have. Hendrie as a FB > Hendrie as a WB in my opinion.

I'm confident Vernam has 15-20 goals a season in him, just need the right service

100% agree with this. I really hope Jolley is looking to get fullbacks in that allow us to play both wingbacks and a flat back 4 because at the moment we look a bit unbalanced with Ring arguably being a better wingback and Hendrie a more conventional fullback.

all about opinions - ring might make a decent fb to me but he is never a wb

In my humble opinion, Cook isn't as good as Vernam and, if we do sign Hanson, isn't good enough to play as a 10 behind Hanson & Green.

That team looks worse than last year's ;D
Lots more signings to come I hope

Would agree with this. Good option to have in the squad but Vernam is the better player. Wouldn't mind seeing us set up in a 4-3-1-2 with Vernam behind the forwards and allowed to do what he wants.

Yeah, fair enough - I don't actually recall seeing him in a back four yet?

You can't decide on a formation when the squad isn't complete and some players in there you may never have seen. Fantasy formations are well and good but pre season will show the way we should set up.
