We ran this fairly successfully for the past couple of seasons so we will go with this again.
The League 2 fixtures are released at 9am on 20th June, predict who you think Town's first league game will be against.
£5 per entry and you can have as many goes as you like. Send your money via Paypal to lesbrechin@hotmail.com or by bank transfer. Bank details are the same as before but just PM me if you wnat to know them.
There are 46 different options so if we sell all that will mean a winner takes all prize of £230. If we don't sell all entries and the first fixture has not been taken then we go to the 2nd game and so on until a winner is found.
Post the entry you want on this thread and I will update this initial post as entries come in so that you all know which options are still available.
Closing date for entries will be 6pm on the 17th June as it has been known for fixtures to leak out before the official release date.

Well think about first season back in the league we played at home, then it was away to chesterfield, last season at home to FGR so makes sense we will be away next season

Well think about first season back in the league we played at home, then it was away to chesterfield, last season at home to FGR so makes sense we will be away next season
With teams coming up and down from different Divisions each season, I don't really think it can work like that can it?
Also IIRC towards the end of our last time in the league, we had 3 or 4 consecutive home matches to start the season

I will give the prize (the total I take) away however many entries we have. I will just go to the 2nd, 3rd fixture etc until we have a winner. You will need to predict the home or away part too to win the prize though.

I reckon your nailed on with that one, The league will want a team with a decent away following, but likely to be quite beatable, ready for all the media hype etc. that will come with their 1st league game.

Just a quick update. 15 entries so far, so at the minute the prize stands at £75.
A couple of people have asked for fixtures but not sent their money yet. If I get the money through I will add their entry to the list.
Keep the entries coming in though, £5 per fixture to lesbrechin@hotmail.com.
Fixtures are released at 9am on Thursday 20th June but deadline for entry to this will be 6pm on Monday 17th June as fixtures have been known to leak out a day or two before.
If the first fixtures has not been taken then I will move on the the 2nd fixture, 3rd fixture etc until we find an EXACT prediction, including home or away.
