With Salford gaining promotion it means that next season Wrexham (along wth Solihull Moors) will be invited to take part in The Scottish Challenge Cup along with the top 2 teams from the Welsh and Irish leagues.

This means that we could have a situation where Wrexham are drawn away to say Sligo Rovers and would therefore be a Welsh team, representing an English league, playing in a Scottish competition, in Ireland.  ;D
