Our old foes have been evicted from their shitty ground. Looking in to ways to fulfil their fixtures.

Are they still getting a new ground?

Just been reading this, they've been in financial issues all season.

Sorry to see this, I am sure Darlo will offer use of the ground if needed. Players have had wages delayed too.

If only their 2014 vintage had put a quid in a hat for every time they fell over.

(tongue in cheek - no-one wants to see an old (new) club in trouble)

Surely their 8000+ fans who were at our play-off game a few years back will save them!  ;)

I’d just about managed to forget that Gateshead were seen as our rivals at one point. Dark days. Hopefully never to return

I don't give a fook about Gateshead, horrible little club with horrible fans.

That ground was flooded or frozen for a good chunk of each season anyway, wasn't it? They won't notice the difference.

They weren’t rivals - they just had it in their heads that they were. See also: Cheltenham.

Yes, they certainly were grim days back in the early 1950's when we were in the 3rd Division North together. You are obviously older than I thought! ;)

Unfortunately it was. I was a bit smashed to say the least and on the way back from Nuneaton away.
