With Welsh departing who should take over as club captain??..

Personally I'd be looking at Macca but wondering what others think .

It'll be Collins.

Macca, Hess or Davis

Maybe Macca but a decision could be delayed until pre season.

If it's not McKeown I'm guessing it'll be left until pre-season? (Do we need one for the next 6 weeks?)

I think he's the 5th Town player to make 400+ appearances

Surely for now it'll just go to the vice captain... Collins?

Short term appointment till the end of the season then no doubt the captaincy will be used as an incentive to try and sign someone half decent, hopefully.

Surely it deserves a poll so we can determine the Will of the People?

Who is the gobbiest player on the pitch? we dont really seem to have someone who shouts out too much.
Normally the guy that shouts from midfield or defense to get the troops in order would get it but we are shy of having that in the team.

I don't see the need to appoint a new club captain right now. Collins has been captain most of the season so nothing will change.

I think it is important to have a few vocal players on the pitch. You don't need to wear an armband to encourage and drive others around you on.

I really don't see the point in a captain anyway to be honest, just because you're not captain dosent mean it will not make players that like to talk a lot on the pitch talk any less. If your a organiser and a leader on the pitch, you are whether you are captain or not I think.
