Sol Campbell for me this week. He’s back on national TV saying there’s unconscious bio against black people and this has stopped him from getting a job higher up the leagues like Lampard and Gerrard.

Aye, footballers on social media have gone backwards since the glory days of Simon Ramsden's Faceparty page.

That will please the Macclesfield fans then he is only there because he could not get a job anywhere else

I see half of their players did not get paid this week,

It did not say whether Sol got his wage packet.

To be fair they looked organised against us and played well but we were poor that game. They’ve slowed down result wise and there’s a small gap appearing

You might be right here. Let's look at the facts. Gerrard, Lampard and Campbell, all played at top premier league clubs and lots of times for England. One gets a job at top Scottish club, one gets job at Championship side and the third......oh well the Macclesfield job is nearly as good isn't it?

I'm guessing that the red-crossers are not employment law specialists  ;). Or do they want to talk us through the management qualifications of the 3 players and show how 2 deserve jobs at such a high level and the third doesn't? [Personally, I think they should all start at the bottom].

Me for not seeing Towns poor performance on Saturday coming and consequently predicting a convincing home win   :o

Perhaps it's his personality that is more off putting for potential employers than the colour of his skin.

Is there a race issue still in the game?  Of course, sadly.  But Campbell comes across very poorly and as someone of incredible arrogance.

If Paul Scholes wasn't ginger he'd be managing in at least League 1.

Me, for sticking £20 on Town to win last Saturday.

Reminds me once again why I should never bet on Town!  :o

Didn’t sol Campbell in not so many words say that he wants a job in management as a stepping stone to being a pundit on TV live on a radio interview? If so he’d drop Macclesfield in a heartbeat, that could’ve contributed towards it.

In a normal job many people could have the same qualifications but no experience at interview but if the attitude is wrong they won’t grt the job. It’s clear with Sol that he has a massive chip on his shoulder and has been vocal about using management as a stepping stone.

He might have a chip on his shoulder. But I wonder why. Maybe years of getting nowhere whilst seeing other people with no more talent can do that to you.

There's plenty of managers in football who come across as arrogant and with no class.

I used to work in a firm where there were lots men of a certain type in senior positions. All terribly nice and terribly posh. Decent people. Very gentlemanly. Very easy to get on with. When you have to kick doors down to get in somewhere you don't have much energy left for the social graces.
