Maybe MJ is going to unveil our signing(s) at the Q&A session tonight
If he's at BP from 7 I assume any business must be done by now?

He doesn't need to be there for the formalities and contract signing, so if all the negotiations are done before 7, then someone else can dot the I's and cross the T's. There would be no point in him still being on the phone negotiating after this afternoon, so we either have someone signed already, or are in the process of signing him right now, and there is the possibility that we won't be signing anyone at all today. Then there are the free agents who will become available after the deadline, so there are other avenues to pursue after today. Fox and the other guy up front whose name escapes me were brought in when he first arrived.

We’ve just got to be reasonable and realise we appear steady enough in the middle of the table that you can rule out any expensive loan signings, while any permanent signing would have to be exceptional enough that jolley thinks they would play an important part next season
Theres a couple of things our squad could probably do with but i wouldnt be worried if we don’t get anyone today

Am I the only one who would be slightly concerned if we do not sign anybody today, sure we look mid table and quite safe but we don't exactly score many goals, what if we don't score in the next 4-5 games and lose them? That could easily see us dangerously close to relegation, what if Wes Thomas or Embleton gets injured? I like to think we are safe but lets not assume that we are..

Defo not safe yet and I still feel like Notts are going to pull a run together, hope that feeling is wrong though!
Its comforting to know that one team is adfrit and there is only one place left for what 6 or 7 sides?

Sam Kelly left Hamilton yesterday 😉
It is staggering that he played nearly 100 games at L1 level. He has the heart of a gnat and not much more ability than one.

Just been on Radio Humberside regarding Charlie Goode, who asked if he had been in contact, Stuart McCall at Scunthorpe said: "one team he never spoke to was Grimsby Town".

Goode has joined Northampton on loan for the rest of the season........I thought he didn't want to drop into League 2 ;)
