My next door neighbour lost his dog once and he was called Roy. Not the neighbour but the dog was called Roy. That was the reason he lost his dog-not because the dog was called Roy but Roy didn't have a lead because Dave [the owner ] leant it to the chap across the road who by coincidence was called Roy and he had a dog [which was pretty obvious because he wouldn't have wanted to borrow a lead if he hadn't a dog ] which was called Dave. Next week Dave the owner is taking Roy the dog to Chesterfield to see his mother-Daves mother not Roys, and I have asked him if he can make enquiries for you.

Insightful as ever Golfer. Are you one of the club's directors by any chance?

But he might find it if he's given a good lead.
