One player we won't be seeing tomorrow,

Jonny Williams has just left Palace for Charlton

Been with the club since he was 8 and loaned out a lot - not a bad little player and still young at only 25

Connor Simpson , , , , Preston to Carlisle

Sounds a decent young player , , , , was on loan with Hyde and scored 8 in 15 games

Interesting Carlisle just getting on with things despite not having a manager

As good as Macca has been for us, I just can't see a team with ambitions of promotion to the Premier League this season being interested in him.

Kevin Ball has watched Macca a bit this season whilst keeping an eye on Embeleton I’m sure he’s noticed how good James is but I doubt there’s anything in this for either Sunderland or Borough......

Though if the Mackams want him we’ll take £3 million plus Embleton.......😂

Cant see Macca moving this window. he loves the club and it would take a very good deal to get him away from here. The summer may be a bit different tho as there is bound to be interest , as there alwase is in good keepers

And they must be spending more than they can surely afford? wages must be very very high.
Wonder how they do it? wonder what is stopping us? oh yes we know why

I mean I’d rather pay what we can afford and not overspend but each to their own.

Because spending above your means has never got a club in trouble.......

Their rich bloke is considerably richer than our rich bloke, or at least more willing to spunk it away. That's the main difference. I prefer the Accy Stan route personally, though it's obviously more difficult to achieve.

Lincoln City sign former Republic of Ireland under-21 defender Cian Bolger on a two-and-a-half year deal from Fleetwood Town.

Bolger will be available for Lincoln when they play Town on Saturday.

Now there's a player we wouldn't say no to!... still think we haven't addressed the big problem though that's haunted us for 2 years now...a quality goal machine...still, 14 days left yet to sort it I suppose...

Danny Rowe is quality played for us last season until he was injured , scored some great goals fast , skilful defenders nightmare.

Not a transfer but.......Former Man Utd striker Andy Cole has joined the coaching staff at Macclesfield on a part-time basis.

But he would feed the strikers and give us some forward momentum from mid field.

Sadly no chance, he'll be on good money now and to be fair he's done his time in non league and league 2 is too poor for a player of his ability. Rolls Royce of a player.

Not a hope in hell he'll be back in Towns colour's anytime soon.

Would of been interested in Nolan had we not got Embo until the end of season.

Similar players, but Embo is better

Nolan is a good player for this league, but doesn't do enough off the ball, and would cost us even more goals IMO

Nolan is a superb player. Id take him over anyone in our midfield. Anyone saying otherwise give your head a wobble

He was one of the best players in league 1 last season, so obviously he would be a superb addition. Even more obviously, he's not going to sign for us.
