Can we preregister players to enable them to play New Year’s Day ? We really do need to get players in very quickly we seem to have had a shortage of defenders since game 1 in August.

I think you can still make the arrangements to sign players they just won't be allowed to officially join until the transfer window opens.  

When we signed Adi Yussuf we announced on NYE that he would be officially a Town player from the 1st of Jan - so in short yes.

Transfer window is huge for us. We need keep Hendrie and Embleton. We then need to add 4-5 to our thin squad. Defenders are a priority but we also need a pacy winger sharpish as our options are limited.

Hendrie, Embleton to season end, Sebastian Ring, a winger and another striker for me.

Hooper, Robles and Woolford to be allowed to leave

I've seen that Exeter and an unnamed league 2 club are interested in Ryan Bowman and this unnamed league 2 club have tabled a bid, could we be the league 2 club as I know we were interested in close season.

I wouldn't be surprised if the unnamed club was County... The transfer window is massive for them.

I can't see us paying for anyone in this transfer window, I think they'll all be either free transfers or loans.

I’ve heard that mitch rose can go if an offer comes in possibly from Colchester United . We are also looking at an ex Wycombe Striker at Woking .

Woking have Max Kretzschamar who is ex Wycombe but he's a centre mid I believe.

That's the one I was looking at, scored just under 30 goals in the last season and a half from midfield (though at Conference South level)

In wouldn't let Woolford go - decent squad member especially his experience with a lot of youngsters
We are fine in midfield if Embleton stays
If Vernam mid/long term out a new striker needed
Two defenders - again, if most of injuries are mid/long term

Tricky time to get people in - very few gems out there, especially strikers cos if they're scoring what club would let them go?

Can't see mitch going to Colchester.... Unless they pay of course.  Thought he's very much needed here.

I’d be upset if Mitch Rose went, I’d sooner have him over Welsh to be honest.

Mitch is out the team for no reason of his own, just unfortunate that Hess and Clifton are doing a great job in the middle.

I can not see us letting Mitch leave we need him.

I'd be dissapointed if mitch went, on the fringe of a first team spot just being kept out by players in good form.

No idea if true or not but I was told a month ago that Rose is gone in Jan, from somebody pretty well connected, not shared it before because I couldn't see it happening tbh...

I like Rose... He just needs to fight for the shirt.  If he goes I wish him all the best but also I hope we get something for him if true.

We would have to have aomeone else lined up if so.
