Only one game short of Derby's record of league games (35) without a victory.... Separated by 7 years since they were last in the league mind but still some feat!

I think he's up a mountain somewhere giving a Powerpoint presentation to a flock of sheep!

That’s some stat, but I’d always argue that our own 25 game run within a single season under Neil Woods beats this for fan torture. Last year wasn’t much better either, it’s a miracle we stayed up.

To be fair to Woodsy, he was only in charge for the last 80% of it ;)

I think we also had a 20-game winless run from the back end of 2007/8 and into 2008/9 when Newell took over. Seem to remember it coming to an end with a victory at Bury.
So that’s THREE 20+ winless runs we’ve been on in our last 4-5 seasons at this level.
No wonder we dropped into non-league and no wonder many of us leave in fear that it may happen again.

Yep, 22 (13 under AB III, 3 under whoever the caretaker was (Watkiss?) and 6 under Newell).
