Considering what we've had to put up with over the last 18 months years or so, our away following is bloody fantastic still. Just a shame it has no bearing on the result on the pitch.

On Saturday we took over 3 times as many fans as any other game in the Division.

Away followings on Saturday were,

248 Carlisle at Cambridge
278 Notts County at Exeter
227 Port Vale at FGR
81 Crawley at Lincoln
292 Swindon at Morecambe
223 Cheltenham at Northampton
259 Newport at Oldham
110 (est) Stevenage at Macc
180 Col U at Tranmere
886 Mariners at Bury

Let's hope our performance start to improve pretty quickly though or else we're going to see numbers travelling fall drastically.

Imagine what it would be like if we could go on a winning streak?

I can remember in the distant past we took 5,000 to many a away game.

We may not have much to cheer about over the last god knows how many years but when it comes to support, and especially away support I recon we are the envy of a lot of clubs.

We do take fantastic numbers, often make significant noise too, shame about a few idiots mind ( I thought the 12 year old being picked up and thrown out was quite amusing on Saturday- I was surprised the stewards remained patient for so long tbh)

I’d say port vale ( stoke)at fgr is a shorter distance without checking

Cheltenham to Northampton closer too I'd say.
