Not seen this before. A really good idea and well executed. Well done to whoever thought of it and whoever created it. Credit where's it due etc.

Very good, although it claims our capacity pre all seater in 1995 was around 27000 when it was around 17000. I remember standing in the Pontoon against Spurs in a crowd of about 17k. And around 14500 v Aston Villa.

Getting to BP by bus:

"Stagecoach operate services that run directly opposite
Blundell Park that are free to season ticket holders on
matchdays."

a. I'm not sure what relevance this has to away supporters.
b. How come I (as a STH) am not aware of this? I thought it was discontinued a few seasons ago.

Decent idea, amateurish in layout and execution, loads of inaccuracies and lots of spelling mistakes, par for the course..

Directions from Cleethorpes station look a little vague too. Turn right out of the station and head down the High Street? You’d end up on Station Rd.

Lots of other little errors. Could do with being proof read.

Was surprised by the praise on the Oldham board because it’s essentially the same thing that clubs (inc GTFC) have been doing for two decades. Am I missing something?

I like the part on page one that teases with "If you need a place to park your car, would like fo...."

Then further down hits them with:

"Parking is extremely limited around Blundell Park. We
advise supporters to arrive early and use the local
street parking. Please be aware though that some
areas close to the ground have match day parking
restrictions"

Yeah great, thanks for the tip  ;D

Its cr@p....

the only road route to BP is down the M180 ?

no mention of beer being available on the Scotties Bar menu

no reference to the signature dish of Fish and Chips being available throughout the town

MacDonalds reference is reproduced word for word twice on the same page...cos they really need the advertising don't they ??

The Old Farmhouse , Stallingborough , for pre match pints ?? and if you can get from there to BP on a matchday in 15 mins then you must either  be on a motorbike ..or you are a crow.

As an away supporter can i pay on the gate ?? No idea from that information.

Nice idea, poorly executed.

On a positive note, at least the Imp, Clee Park or Darleys weren't mentioned

I wonder who runs that bar they recommend ?  ;)

Plus it should have said "  Flags are allowed in the ground BUT  not in the directors box "   ;D

Would've thought it was fairly obvious that a bar sells beer. There is even a picture of someone getting a beer....

Yeah, great idea but probably best if not written by a four-year-old.

"Quote GTFC to get a very best rate."

The Supporter Liaison bit is particularly dreadful.

"A really good idea and well executed"
"It's crap"

Nothing like the Fishy for polarised opinions  :)

The truth as ever lies between the two

I wonder who the landlord of The Old Farmhouse, Stallingborough is.

Seems a strange pub to recommend. Is that the pub at Little London by the way near the railway crossing on the road to Immingham?

Probably because he's absolutely dreadful as a Supporter Liaison Officer. The lad only seems bothered about parroting club messages, rather than you know, liaising back and forth between supporters and the club.

Given that most away fans will be viewing content on their phones, why has it been presented as a landscape pdf file which looks like it was originally put together in Powerpoint? It's basic stuff and will be difficult to view on a portrait phone screen on the way to Blundell Park - no thought given to usability. Present it as a dynamically scaled webpage, or use something like Adobe Spark which is great for displaying highly visual guides on a variety of screen sizes. This kind of rank amateurishness runs throughout the club and really boils my urine.

wine bar...gin bar ....  ;)

I may be guilty of being slightly pedantic on that one but as its directly  under the Scotties Bar review the menu doesn't mention it all....as i am sure you are aware there are people in this world to whom a beer is very important and stating the available selection could actually help entice people in.

We should put “A good idea, poorly executed since 1878” in big letters across the top of the Main Stand or something.

I'm trying to find out where the 13 and 46 bus services run from and to!

I've amended to suit, hope you don't mind.

Having read through the document I agree it wasn't well executed. When I skim read it (on a laptop) I thought it was pretty good but yeah completely accept it could and should be more professional. Hopefully someone from the club will read this thread and update it. Will drop them an email as well.

Don't forget that when the new stadium opens the guidance will all have to change anyway. Hardly seems worth making cosmetic changes and correcting spelling mistakes at this stage.
