Can't see it being a high scoring game. We have only conceded 1 goal and that was a penalty,  We have started okay, and I thought we had a hard start, plus we have County the week after you.

I see a 1-0, either way. Local derby will level it up I think.

It's going to be a difficult one to call,  think due to the turn over in playing staff within both teams the fact it's a local derby will have less of an affect on the players so it's about a game of football, same as every week now...
Reckoning on a low scoring, tight affair probably 1-1 with goals from Cook and Akinde....attendance in the 6800 region.

Well we’re bound to concede a dodgy penalty so anyone suggesting Lincoln nil will be wrong I fear.

I don’t pay too much attention to your details but have you played Rhead and Akinde in the same starting line up yet? Hardly the most mobile pairing that!

If you give it away he'll score it like he normally does............ Akeem that is as Mitch is banned. I guess whoever draws the short straw sits on the other end of the bench to Rhead as it must be like a see saw when he sits down.  

If he's a bench warmer on Saturday and has to warm up in front of the Main I would imagine (hope() one or two choice comments could come into play  ;)

I'm hopeful but I think this particular game has come a little early in the season for us. I just see MJ's challenge as putting together a giant jigsaw puzzle but some of the pieces may be missing. The fact that we're signing a potential piece of that puzzle the day before this game sums up what we're dealing with, need to think long-term and take each game as a step towards a team to eventually challenge.

Regardless of todays score, I'm happy enough that a year on we're not suffering under the idiot Slade, even if we are still suffering from his actions somewhat.

probably...or taking the pessimistic route makes our 6-1 victory all the sweeter come full time...

Realistically, we're two or three years behind Lincoln in our development cycle, so wouldn't expect to beat them.  Having said that, when we were much better than them in the conference years we still lost a few to them.
