It’s very sad that our own ‘so called’ fans think that it’s appropriate to start hurling abuse to MJ after a single game!! That approach is both short sighted and counter productive.

Last season wasn’t that long ago when MJ was a Saint!! I very much doubt his hunger and professionalism have changed since then. It’s going to take a little time in competitive fixtures to gel.

We were off the pace and it wasn’t a good first game, a few poor performances and perhaps a few nerves. This rebuild isn’t going to happen overnight and we all just have to be patient. I don’t think for one minute that we are going 20 games without a win!!

The only way that we will get the Club out of this position and move up the leagues is by sticking together and becoming united across all fronts. MJ is right about creating the environment etc. Just look at what Southgate is working on. At Town, our mentality as fans is like the England fans of the Previous two decades and look where that ended up.

We sing because it gives players a lift, we shout because it motivates them and we clap because it shows appreciation. Hurling abuse has never motivated or achieved anything.

Let’s do this together, let’s not turn against the 1 commodity that has bought into our community!!

In MJ we trust, UTM

The Collins og was a complete joke he hit it back towards his own goal at pace without looking and WTF was Macca doing standing near the corner flag?? Unless this was part of the plan to play the ball out from the back ?? Think Macca thought to keep it away from the goal was safer. Either way, both players fecked up big time.

Is this the Dixon who was one of our better performers yesterday and in no way warrants being singled out?

I like Jolley and fully support him but yesterday's reaction from the main stand mafia, will seen rightly tame if we put in a another performance like that against Lincoln.

Dixon was terrible yesterday along with the rest .

The only player to come out with any kind of credibility was welsh but thats pushing it.

Anyone who says dixon was one of our better performers yesterday either didnt go or is related to him.

I am by no means a Dixon apologist but I thought he was OK yesterday and I can't say that about many - possibly Whitmore & Welsh & Hess when he came on.

He did fine and was much better than Hall-Johnson not to blame for any of the goals and involved in our goal. He actually put a fair few crosses in. You have to have someone every season to single out for embarrassing abuse.

Anyone who thinks Dixon was the issue yesterday is blinkered.

He was the only one carrying any kind of threat. I was surprised when hall-johnson came on for him instead of dixon. Even clifton had started walking towards the benches thinking it was him.

We would not be talking about Dixon if Fox had been more convincing in preseason. Not looked right since Cleethorpes game.
