Have we signed Robles' brother? ;)
Having not seen us play since our last home game, i'm pretty clueless as to what the line up and personnel will be.

Anyone know why Max Wright hasn't been involved too much?

I think Clifton will start, probably at right wing-back.
The left side is a bit of an issue. RHJ is ok down there but not natural sided, whereas Dixon doesn't look mobile enough for wing-back and Fox seems a little out of sorts in the friendlies I've seen.

Have you been at the rum a bit early this year Santa? ;D

I've not seen any of the pre-season stuff and haven't followed it very closely so I'm going to be spending most of the game trying to work out who half of the players are and what they are called. Should be fun. :)

I’s pick RHJ and Fox at WB purely for balance reasons. Fox looked really good in proper games at the end of last season so he won’t have lost it. Remember he struggled when not fit last year, get him up to speed and he’ll be fine.

My guess is that it's because he has only played in a League 4 below us in the Football Pyramid. That's quite a big gap, and I can only imagine the uproar on here if we signed a player from 4 Leagues below us!

For me I would put Woolford in for Rose.
Just feel he has that bit better vision going forward to find the through ball etc

Who would be on set pieces? Now that summers is gone, isn't Fox / Woolford on corners?

Oops meant to put Dixon. Corrected

Hessenthaler and Fox have been taking them

What's the rule on including players from our youth academy - is it that we have to list two in the squad of 18?
Clifton, Wright and A. Rose would qualify as youth graduates, I presume. Two of those three should feature in the squad this Saturday (if I've got the ruling correct).

Which midfielder is going to get forward in support of the front two - I assume this would have been Whitehouse?

You only need one for this season - it’s next season that we’ll require two.

From the friendly games I would have a Whitmore as a definite starter. I expect him Davis and Collins to be the back three

Whitmore, Collins & Famewo for me. I expect Harry Clifton to play right wing back ahead of RHJ and suspect Fox will play on the left unless Koiki signs.

Having seen all preseason apart from Rotherham I think Fox is not as quick or confident as RHJ. Whitmore has been a rock and Famewo has more pace than Davis. So....
Macca
Whitmore Collins Famewo
Welsh
Clifton Rose Hessenthaler RHJ
Vernam Hooper

Davis, whitmore and collins have started the last couple of friendlies together, so I'd be surprised if they weren't the 3 chosen. I also think Jolley wants to find any place he can for clifton, so we'll see him in right wing back.

Me neither, especially given that Cook has been ill, has missed the last two friendlies, and probably missed training too.
