Tough one! Probably has to be Crofty who was a great servant, but Nathan Arnold will always be a but special to us I suspect.

Gary Croft.
(although his spell here as #20 wasn't when he made his reputation here)

Hmmm. Croft is obviously the best player there, but that's based on pre-fishy era gtfc really. So Arnold, a frustrating player to watch at times, but produced some magic moments as well as the obvious one.
Hilariously, the first 2 on that list commanded transfer fees of about £3m combined - and some say Ronaldo's overpriced ;D ;)

Straight choice between Crofty and Arnold for me but I'm going to go for Arnold, if not just for THAT goal at Wembley.

Croft cost 2 million quid, didn't he? Hard to overlook him.

Croft a very good full-back so the best player in that list. Honourable mention for Arnold, however.

Croft.
Loved it when he played for Ipswich against Town with a tag on his ankle

Arnold.
Croft was a superb player for Town but that was in his first spell that pre-dated the Fishy.
As a No.20 he was tidy, effective and steady. I think I'm right in saying Slade originally brought him back as a holding midfielder before he ended up as cover at full-back for both Macca and Newey. Definitely not the attack-minded full-back from his first spell.
Arnold all day for me. Some great goals and even better memories.

Arnold for the memories.
Croft clearly the better player, but for reasons already mentioned...

I’d love to pick Nath, but Crofty was sublime over two spells. So he gets my vote

Exactly how I see it too , Croft (just)

Croft was clearly the best player on that list, but his pomp was before the Fishy. I don't remember much of Crofty's second spell as I won't have seen him that often. So I'm going for Nathan Arnold who has a special place at this club, not just for THAT goal.

Outside of Arnold or Croft I don't think the other can even be considered.
But I'm gonna go for Arnold just for how pivotal he was in getting us out of non-league
