Thought Bradley Allen was a great player, and if it hadn't been for the lump being on the list am sure he would've made it

Gary Jones.

And although I suspect Jones will win this comfortably, Bradley Allen deserves special mention for me. Played in the second tier for us and was absolutely instrumental in the run-in that year under Groves when we dished out a few hidings at BP. Such a clever player and Mick Boulding never looked as good as when he was alongside Allen for Town in those few months.

Lump was iconic, but didn't play at such a high level for us* as Bradley Allen. So Bradders it is for me.

Gary Jones. One of the most unorthodox looking forwards I’ve ever seen but was a pain in the behind for any defender to deal with and knew where the back of the net was !!! He gets my vote

Honorable mentions go to Daryl Clare and Bradley Allen. I thought Clare was outstanding in 97/98, when he played over Lester, Livvo or Nogan I thought he made a great account of himself. Never quite worked out for him here in the end though. Allen was a rough diamond, hard working and would bring others into the game. I think we missed him that year we went down. He left a year too soon for sure.

Not sure I would describe Bradley Aileen as a rough diamond!! Oozed class and quality for me.

Lumpaldinho by an absolute mile.  If ever there was a striker who was a yard of pace short of making it to the top, it was him.

Loved watching him.
