Surely someone has a long lens camera taking piccies of the 1st training session, claiming that they have seen X,Y, or Z training with the new squad as a trialist or secret signing ???
No one posing as a parking valet at Millfields.... where ALL the signing action takes place ??
Very slow new signing day today, then !!!!

Difference this year our manager seems to be able to get the players in he wants, no panic signings needed and I would be surprised if Jolley needs trailists as he has seems to have a clear idea/plan, unlike previous managers.

There is a similarity but she-who-must-be-obeyed says that jones ears are different and his hair is darker. So it definitely isn't him, because she knows everything 8) ;D 8)

Good call nelly.definite similarity. Played 39 times for the gasheads last year, so why would he be dropping down to us as I think he's still under contract there.
Mind you he only scored once so he's an obvious shoe in for a gtfc centre forward!

Seemed to be knocking the goals in reasonably well in League Two while at Exeter City in the 2014–15 and 2015–16 seasons before Peterborough got him.
I can't find anywhere where it says how long Tom Nichol's contract is, a few articles saying that the contract was undisclosed between Peterborough and Bristol Rovers, seems abit weird? With the respectable £350,000 fee paid one would presume he's one year into a three-year + deal, so I guess if he is actually here maybe a season long loan to see how it pans out? That's if it really is him... (Confused)

It's good to see some YT's having some involvement with first team training in those pictures. Last season it was the opposite way around with some pro's training with the YT's (until Jolley came in anyway).

I knew being a Midlands based GTFC fan would pay off some day... Town are training right on my doorstep (I work just round the corner and know exactly where they are training) so gonna try pop up there at lunch time tomorrow and spectate whilst I eat my sandwiches!

So following on from my post earlier in the week, ended up catching a short chat with the manager on Tuesday and then watching the team train for an hour or so yesterday which was pretty cool.
Tuesday we headed up to the location where they were training and I was driving up the road I spotted Michael Jolley walking back with an assistant manager.. my mate eagerly hopped out and went to introduce himself whilst I went and parked the car and as I came back I just caught the tail end of the conversation, but honestly they couldn't have been nicer and were more than happy to have 5 minutes chatting with a couple of fans, sharing a few jokes and stuff, and parted with handshakes all round. Came across as a really nice guy, which is no surprise from having seen various interviews since he joined the club.
We enquired about going to watch the lads train.. he said Tuesday wasn't good, but to pop up on Wednesday instead and that would be fine.
So yesterday we went back to the pitches and found them hard at work doing some smaller group games / training exercises. We just relaxed well out of the way to the side of the pitch and left them to get on with it (resisting the urge to go and bug them for pitctures and stuff) and left after an hour or so. Got a very good vibe as there seemed to be plenty of communication and talking with the manager, lots of laughs, etc.. they seemed very comfortable and having a good time.
Only reassures me even more going into the new season. UTM!

Totally agree with what chicane put. All the players, management team etc couldn't do enough when I popped in on Tuesday. They all look seriously 'sleek' and definitely put through their paces

Yes, but if you look very carefully in the trees behind them is the 25+ goal/season striker we're about to sign. Apparently he's training in camouflage until the signing is complete.
