It could be that we have signed a new striker and that Hessenthaler was signed days ago? Nothing woukd surprise me.

Akheem Rose signed over 2 weeks ago but the club havent announced that yet either!

Interesting Hessenthalers dad was previously short listed for the managers job at Town ( think it was when Bignot got the nod)

James Berrett had played 200 games in League One by the time he was 25.

Not being negative about the signing, but as always with new signings let's just give them chance to play competitive games then judge them. I'd say the same if we'd signed someone who was a bench warmer for a conference team.

Mostly substitute appearances and in teams always battling for relegation.

How do you know this? I havnt even heard he got his work permit has been cleared yet?
