Dies aged 54. Won the European Cup Winners’ Cup with Aberdeen under Sir Alex Ferguson, but is probably best remembered in a Town context as the manager of Hartlepool when they beat us 8-1 in 2003.

Was he Terry Coopers son? If he was he played here in the famous Exeter game when we had to win to win the league.
