Just list the three teams you think will win the play-offs this weekend. Nothing else - no goalscorers, no scorelines... just the winning teams (and we'll see if anyone called it right on Monday night). I'll start:

Villa

A bit late to this party

I wanted Fulham to win ( and pleased as punch for Tom Cairney getting the goal ) but scrub that
as I suspected Steve Bruce would have sneaked it again

As for tomorrow and Monday

Shrews then Exeter

Rotherham - But not pleased they have been in administration and got a new ground. Don't what to see Hurst cupping his ears again.

Coventry - because Exeter are not sure whats happening with their manager. Should have been well sorted by now.

I very much doubt Hurst will be cupping his ears today because the fans at Shrewsbury appreciate what a great job he has done for them. They were rock bottom of league one when he took over only 18 months ago. You can't argue with that. I would love to see them win today with all their GTFC connections. And I hope it will be our turn to achieve something similar next season.

He led with his arm, you’ve seen red cards given for challenges like it. It wasn’t as bad as Rhead on Henderson though.

Rovrum go one up. Beckles with terrible marking.

Sounds like Henderson did a Jerzy Dudek and was well off his line when the ball was struck.

I'm pretty sure Hurst will be at Ipswich next season.

Despite the fact that if he loses today, that'll be 5 losses in 6 Wembley appearances for him.

He was a good yard or so off his line when the ball was struck

Doesn’t take away from the fact that it was a poor penalty though

He could probably still have saved it rooted to the line……no one will ever know

Hurst's tactical rigidity has cost him here. Apart from one well worked move Shrewsbury have been awful, and they've not been able to cope defending set pieces in their own half all game. Putting John-Lewis on Rotherham's biggest set piece threat is a terrible bit of management.

Yep, it's fine to tarnish the final for thousands of fans because one person put up a banner. Unless he spotted the person in the crowd and aimed it only at him.
I think it was a lesson in professionalism - ie, what not to do. I doubt Hurst will react like that in future under similar circumstances. I think he'll show more class, composure and perspective. If he does progress to management of a big club at league one or championship level he'll have to learn to deal with expectation, criticism, pressure and derision - on a much grander scale than at Town, so good luck to him and I'm sure he'll do well.

Quick update on the competition... nine people correctly guessed Fulham & Rotherham to win and they are:

sonofmadeleymariner (Exeter)
GTFC42 (Exeter)
Abdul19 (Coventry)
The Old Codger (Coventry)
Les Brechin (Coventry)
chaos 33 (Coventry)
penrith mariner (Exeter)
Kingston Mariner (Exeter)
PrestwichMariner (Coventry)

If Exeter win then sonofmadeleymariner takes the playoff crown for being the first to submit the correct predictions. Likewise, if Coventry win then Abdul19 is the playoff king.

Unless you each want to predict the time of the first goal as a tiebreaker?

He is not the first manager to get such a reaction after a excrement performance, he should have risen above it rather than having a go at the fans, unfortunately at that time he didn't have the class to leave well alone.

At the end of the day he's made a lot of town fans look very silly. I'd like to think our current young up and coming manager will get the opportunity to improve with us without getting abuse for every tactical mistake and every comment he makes that is taken out of context. I won't hold my breath though.

I don’t understand the hate but I certainly don’t think he has made a lot of town fans look silly.

Anyone who knows anything about the game can see what Hurst has been about for the past 4-5 seasons. He is a clever bloke when it comes to managing his own ambitions. He understands the value of reputation when it comes to a new job with a new club and he knows when and where to move. He has always been on a winner at Shrewsbury regardless of whether he reached the playoffs. Joining a club that was down the bottom gives an ideal opportunity especially with a budget to sign a few decent players. But the heart of his side at Wembley were loanees so effectively if he stays he has to start all over.

He did an interesting interview for the BBC after the game.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44279810

If he does go to Ipswich the interesting question will be how long he stays and where he goes from there. The fans there want more than just bragging rights over Norwich and he could find himself in the same situation as he was at Town - successful but not successful enough quick enough. But if he could get them to the play-offs he will be away again and the world is his oyster.

Mr Jolley  has a lot more astute attitude than our previous management , I believe his faux pa s will be a rather than on the ground , he also seems to have a blunt honesty about him .

He is not the first manager to get such a reaction after a excrement performance, he should have risen above it rather than having a go at the fans, unfortunately at that time he didn't have the class to leave well alone.

Yeah of course he should, we all would have been able to, wouldn't we?

I think this ear cupping thing is an after final after thought, on the day I can't remember too many moaning, then again I can't remember that much to be fair.

Coventry make the brighter start in the play-off final.
Latest  0-0.

Not much of a spectacle so far....

Maybe once the players tire and the game gets a bit stretched in the second half it might liven things up

The difference between Hurst and Jolley is,

If we played crap and lost 4-0 to a team we should have won,

Michael would not have a go at the fans that went instead he would have said that was crap and the fans deserve better.

Just my opinion like.

Absolute screamer by Cov's son of Harry/Doug.

There were plenty of people moaning about the ear cupping but we were also in the middle of a celebration for the next few weeks.

He simply shouldn’t have done it. I’d be very surprised that even if Jolley did it even if he ended up in the same scenario. He’s shown more PR nous than Hurst ever would. To that extent Hurst was out of the Fenty mould.

Is Jonson Clarke Harris the first man with 3 surnames to play at Wembley?

2-0 Cov

Can’t see Exeter getting back in it now

Huge deflection probably means no trip to Cov next season

Deflection but 2-0 Coventry.

One thing disappoints me about this final: That Coventry don`t play

Jordan Thompson. Jordan Maguire-Drew, Jordan Ponticelli from the start of this game.
I think they would play well with Jordan Willis and Jordan Shipley.

I really do hope that they buy Jordan Moore-Taylor, Jordan Storey and Jordan Tillson from Exeter.

They could be sponsored by an oli magnate from Jordan and change their name to Jordan FC.

Oh, well... hat... door... on my way.

Exeter score a belter of a consolation

Coventry's win makes our task a little easier next season.

Exeter have no cash and will be under pressure to sell again, and might well lose their manager. I see them as far less of a threat than Coventry.

Exeter made over £2million in transfers last year and they’re building new stands so they’re not exactly strapped for cash.

A fan-owned club could never survive and thrive. Football clubs need rich benefactors.

Or so they say.  ;)

I heard a stat that said Exeter have made £7m in transfer fees alone since 2015 - think it was on Sky Sports in one of their preview shows.

If that's true then that's incredible. We supposedly made £1m on Bogle and we think that's decent.

Congrats to Abdul19 btw - called all three play-off final winners correctly (as did a few others to be fair) but his were first in.

It was said today that the Trust can only put in £90k per season, the rest has to come from selling players and gate receipts. They couldn't afford to pay off their manager which is why he is working a two year notice period. If they are splashing cash on ground improvements that will put further pressure on their budgets next season.  It will be interesting to see how they fare next year, especially if the manager walks.

If like suggested PH was tapped up by Ipswich I sympathise fully with the Shrews fans we had the same with Slade before playing Cheltenham at Cardiff it left a very sour taste. Get some money on the Shrews getting relegated.
