I’m really hoping Exeter do Lincoln over

Wonder how many Lincoln season ticket holders will renew if they don’t go up and the feel good factor wears off? That money from the FA Cup won’t last them forever.

If Lincoln don't go up this season I can't see them making the same impact in the next one. Not often do you see teams that fail in the playoffs continue to do well the season after. I've said before they're on a crest of a wave at the moment, that generally doesn't last long. Fair play to the way they run their club at the moment though as something is working.

Just watching the Scunthorpe/Rotherham game, Scunny look decent and play some good football. How times change.....

I have a feeling they will sell even more season tickets next season as there is no evidence that Impmania is dwindling in numbers in fact quite the opposite as many who want tickets cannot get them so will, I believe get season tickets next year.

With plenty of dosh likely to be invested whichever league they are in next season and Cowley brothers signing long term contracts think, unfortunately, it will be a while before normal service is resumed and they are back to their 2000 die hard.

Although Rotherham conceded a late goal I think Rotherham would have took 2-2 this morning.

I'm surprised that the ref wanted to spoil the game so early.  ??)

Fair play to the referee, it was a clear red card & it takes some balls to send someone off in the 1st minute.

Connor Jennings on as a sub for Tranmere only 10 days after coming out of hospital.

Come on Boreham Wood! (it's easier to get to for me and I don't really care that Tranmere are a 'proper' club)

Not saying we should sign Andy Cook again but if Tranmere lose today surely he will get an offer in the FL.

I hope Tranmere can pull it off. Boreham Wood in league 2? How many away fans will they bring to BP? I want a decent away day in the Wirral.

Quick look at Lincoln and wondering whether Fatty Rhead is a footballer or a wrestler!!! Dirty get.

Not the last time we were there in the league brings back memories of those smug scouse wannabe's laughing at our demise.

3rd season on the trot that the losing finalists in The National League have won the play-off final the following season. I wonder what the odds on Boreham Wood making it 4 in a row are?

Chance to lay the ghost of Prenton Park to rest next season, I fancy a packed away end and a party!

Depends on whether they build on it like Bristol Rovers & to some extent Lincoln did...

Hopefully they'll find the transition difficult but given that not that far back in history they were doing well in the second tier so they still have quite a lot of potential fans they can tap in to that could help cement their return to the league

Apart from the goal BW didn't create much at all despite having the extra man for most of the game.

Tranmere went 4-4-1 with Cook on his own up front and had a storming game.

Shame really as their fans revelled when we got relegated. Not that great support either today.

No arguing that Tranmere deserve their place but I'd have loved to have seen them fail  :)

Notts County winning at Coventry.

No way that was a Coventry penalty.... the County player got the ball for me.

Looks like no team has taken a commanding lead into the second leg of the playoffs.

Just seen Cowley being interviewed, said Rhead needs protection from refs for being fouled.

What a knob.

At leaat it's a proper league club back in the EFL, although I hate Tranmere.

That Coventry penalty looks very iffy. Fancied them to beat Notts County who are a bang average team if you ask me. All to play for there.

After seeing what Rhead did to Henderson in the Trophy final I'd argue that anyone Rhead goes up against needs protection.

I'm a bit surprised the Cowleys use someone like Rhead in their teams. I can't say I know the Cowleys well but they seem like good, decent, honest, down-to-earth people, tactically astute, and yet Rhead is as dirty and one-dimensional as they come.

I guess you don't care about principles when it comes to winning games of football.

They love 'professionalism' which roughly translated means cheating and conning the ref. They whine and moan constantly trying to get an advantage.

Cowley is a smarmy, down-to-earth guy when the cameras are there but is a moaning, angry twit when he isn't being broadcast nationally, hence why he's been sent off a few times in his career.

And we all know about Rhead - half of his game time is spent grappling with defenders!
