Next Saturday? Isn’t this two legs? I’m glad to say I haven’t taken a blind bit of notice all season!

At least they are a proper football team. I thought everyone was bitching, moaning and wailing about the possibility of playing 'the likes of' Boreham Wood and Sutton a few weeks ago ;)

I did watch the 2nd half/extra time of Aldershot and Ebbsfleet the other night....  made me realise just how good it is simply to be in the football league... so glad we avoided dropping into that crap again... I'm no Slim Jim by any stretch the imagination... but 4 or 5 of Ebbsfleets team were flaunting proper bellies and tyres....

They changed the format this year so 6 teams are in the playoffs and everything's a single tie.

Preliminary:
4th vs 7th
5th vs 6th

Semi finals:
2nd vs (5th or 6th)
3rd vs {4th or 7th)

I think the idea was to get more teams involved in the playoffs but also to give an advantage to the teams that finished higher in the league.

I knew there were 6 playoff teams, but hadn’t really thought about how/why etc?! I get it now, thanks.

We need to get into League One and ensure we never contemplate The Conference again.

I always despair at people who post the same thing twice. I’ve now joined the club x.

Tranmere Rovers vs Boreham Wood in the final at Wembley on Saturday 12 May 2018.

Was at Sutton. They played terribly. Aswad Thomas subbed at half time and bolly looked as shite as he did for us. Not sure it was him who scored either?

So who do we want to win? Tranmere are obviously a 'proper' club who would bring plenty of fans but I'd find it funny if they missed out again.

So I dislike Tranmere after the abuse they gave us when we relegated on the last day at their place and they'll be a threat if they go up.

But in reality im not going to go to Boreham Wood and theyre not a proper team so hopefully Tranmere will go up.

Both FGR and US went up from our second consecutive play off final, so maybe Tranmere will do the same. If so it will be the third time that has happened in three years.

Maybe Andy Cook will make it into the League at last.

Tranmere would be top 7 prospects in League 2 so from a purely selfish point of view I'd prefer BW to win. On the other hand, I like to see "proper" teams with good support levels and not small teams bankrolled by a rich benefactor. BW averaged 655 this season FFS, mind you they'd doubtless pick up a few more in the FL.

Not sure why people are saying Tranmere would be a force if they came up?

Based upon average attendance. They would get over 6,000 in League 2. Only 5 teams managed that this season.

Fair point, decent gates and a location near number of bigger clubs certainly worked for Luton, so I get it.

BW  could pick up a few extra fans from the team that have just gone down Barnet,

It wont be many however because  Barnet have not many to give away. ;)

Of the teams that were in the playoff semis only Tranmere looked anywhere near league standard.  I would prefer BorehamWood to replace my annual trip to Barnet (Have excuse to go as would visit Younger Son Of in Bedfordshire at the same time)  :P

But its only a few weeks ago that folk were whining, complaining and worrying about possibly having to go to Boreham Wood next season  :)

I can see Boreham beating Tranmere at Wembley, dont know why just see it happening

Earlier on in the season it looked like Shaun Pearsons Wrexham were at worst going to reach the play-offs.

Wrexham must be racking up some debt now as you get a pittance in the National League.

Brookside Vs Grange Hill.

I can't see anything other than a Tranmere win.

Yeh but they are a fan owned club . Just like some on here want to be. They must have a multi milllionaire fan to back them then it won’t matter

Not proper clubs!

Jesus, have a listen to yourselves will you?  The likes of Borehamwood are where they are on merit, just like Tranmere and just like how we were two years ago (could have been next season too!)

Shall we just go back to teams applying for re-election so we can keep all these non proper clubs out the league?

Can you imagine if Boreham Wood got in the league. They'd probably set a record for being outnumbered by away fans at every home game next season.  :)
