They are amazed how lucky we are. The pen at Swindon was a bit fortunate but the others were clear pens for me.
I still think we are in a bit of danger but their blubbering is pitiful. One of their fans was considering an appeal! the numpty

Ironically, I sit here in Barnet my current base. I do think that they could easly win their last two games which means we need 2 points or a Cov win
Teams at the bottom are their for a reason, we have no illusions and they need to wake up too. utm

We're only lucky that them and Chesterfield are so crap. In other years we could expect to go down with the points total we are going to end up on.

One of their posters did mention getting promoted on the back of penalties, so some of them are more realistic. Thing is, if you are sh1te all season, you end up in a position for the last few games, where little bits of good/bad luck, make all the difference, but it's your whole seasons performances that get you to the point where you can't afford any slip ups. You can have off days and poor results when you are mid table and it isn't crucial. At this stage of the season, every fan in danger of the drop is poring over every little detail, looking for a crumb of comfort.

Teams that win lots of penalties are usually good not lucky.
The more time you spend camped in your Oppositions the more chance you have of them making a mistake and giving a spot kick away , people always used to say the old Liverpool team of the 80s and the Man U team of the 90's were lucky , they was just better than everyone else and spent more times in dangerous areas right up till the final whistle.

All that being said we're far from good so maybe we have been a bit lucky lately , either way theres nothing Barnet fans can do about it by whinging

After reading the Barnet forum calling us cheats etc(so ironic with the amount of gold medals Akinde has won for diving)I really hope Morcombe carry on there home draw form and send the bleating girl privates down, horrible little club.UTM

Let’s be truthful here Barnet are very lucky to be able to cherry pick so many rejects from the north London academies without this bit of positional bit of fortune the club would be no better than a southern league county team and not the conference yo-yo club that it is.

Barnet has a population of 380k. You could argue that away from those big London clubs and their academies they'd have bigger gates, and be a bigger club.

Wealthy too. Though I guess they're not bothered about football on their doorstep because they repeatedly re-elected councillors who vote down attempts by the Bees to relocate.

Growing up in London with all those big clubs there. Why would you support Barnet when they could support Chelsea?

Simple, you can do both. Support your local team live and your "proper" team and on TV.

Barnet used to sell Tottenham shirts in their club shop and give a discount to THFC season ticket holders. I do not know if they still do?

I mean White Hart Lane is just as close to most of Barnet as The Hive. For a lot of people in that area, why wouldn't Tottenham be your team?

Good on the fans Barnet do have to be honest.
