He's doing the business so far, I was very happy with his appointment, I just want to get through the next two games my guts can't take the pressure.

Absolutely - to not concede today was imperative - and the manager has instilled this in to the team i.m.o.

Penalty goal a bonus.

Well done

Thank intercourse for penalty kicks and good refs - was today's nailed on or disputable ?

Looked quite soft to me, but only had the angle from Ifollow. Kinda looked like he tripped over himself. The ref really was motm for us.

Two more clean sheets would do me... it would guarantee our safety

Looks like an accidental touch by their defender. There still has to be intent doesn't there so a bit lucky? Not that I'm complaining!

Crikey, that looks dubious pen.

I was behind enemy lines today and right behind it and it looked nailed on to me. He definitely clipped Cardwell’s ankle but it was unnecessary as the ball was well past Cardwell.
Still luck tends to even itself out and we’ve had plenty of the wrong type.

Cardwell finally getting his reward for his persaverance. Might not have the ability of a lot of others, but he bloody well keeps going.

Looks a bit dodgy from that angle and distance/lack of definition. Wonder what TV will show.

I don't think it's a penalty, if there is contact it looks to be out off the box for me, but I don't mind!

Maybe the same forces which conspired to keep us down in the Conference, are the same ones conspiring to keep us up. The Conference didn't want us to leave with our big away following, and the FL are looking at ours v Barnet/FGR/Morecambe and thinking ££££.  ;D

From an unbiased point of view, Cardwell was hacked down seven yards inside the box..

On that footage it looks an absolute dive! I'll take it.

Looked really organised today. Mckeown’s quality at this level should not be questioned due to his form since returning from injury.

When we signed Jake Kean their were a lot of people seeing that as Macca not playing again this season.

For me, Macca has to be the player of the year and the first to have a new contract offered.

Jolley has managed to get everyone giving 100%. That’s really all you can ask at the moment! UTM

The ref had a pretty good view of it and seemed in no doubt.

It's true that we are having the rub of the green at last with these decisions, but you still have to convert them. For Rose to have made three high pressure kicks in consecutive games is amazing. We deserve the points for that alone.

His appearance against forest green will be his 300th league appearance, think we need to sort something to show our appreciation, not often we get players reach that milestone

Also is he our longest serving goalkeeper?

I don’t think for a second it was a dive. He goes down too quickly and too convincingly. I am not sure it was the defender though. If anything it looks like he tripped himself.

Great decision by the ref either way 😊

Cast iron pen, their lad lucky not to get a red for violent conduct.

Oh yeah. I don't care if it was or wasn't. There are loads of decisions that turn games that don't go your way. Look at that Coventry goal, first game of season.
F***ing stonewall penalty for me!  :)

Think Macca deserves recognition for the last few clean sheets. Shot stopping is superb.
I know he doesn’t command his box. But his kicking has vastly improved.
He is certainly up there for POTY.
