My son lives in Sheffield and knows a few chesterfield fans, who are coming to the game and says they are really bad. Apparently they will sell out the away end and Dennis hasn't been interested since January, they also said don't be good by the score against Notts county, they were really lucky. Hopefully they'll be made crapper than we are on the day ☺

I'd love it to happen Pete but I suppose there is no chance. If it did it would be interesting to see if the team is still 'Slades crap squad' or if they suddenly become Jolley's fantastic team

I have got a feeling they might just play out of their skins though but maybe 5 is a bit over the top

I find with the odd exceptional occasion, supporting Grimsby Town has been a permanent hangover since 1958 and sadly no amount of drink eases the pain for long. Either way I will hopefully be fully anaesthetised on Saturday afternoon

During a good first half we hit the post and the bar.

Chesterfield score early in the first half and despite throwing everything forward they get a 2nd with a quick break. Finishes 2-0 Chesterfield.

We will win though if the players and fans show an ounce of the passion, intensity, determination and energy that Liverpool did last night in beating Man City convincingly.

Town are heavily fined and deducted 10 points
Barnet survive and Town and Chesterfield go down.
Fenty says intercourse throwing any more money after bad and refuses to finance the fine so Town start with -10 points next season
Stewards and remaining back room employee (the tea lady) pass amongst the home crowd of 379 at the first match of the new season raising £6-50 from the two season ticket holders.
Meanwhile Paul Pogba and Gareth Bale wonder what the intercourse they are doing at the club and sack their agents
Michael Jolley says he expects us to be in the Grimsby Sunday League in 5 years, 'Shut Up' Marley thinks that is a bit ambitious
The Trust do not comment in case they upset Fenty and anyway their chairman has just resigned

Don't care what the score is, who scores, what the crowd is or how many away fans there are.

So long as we win.

We have seen improvement in work rate and effectiveness in these last weeks. Fox and MacSheffrey have definitely improved the team.

We have a chance today.  It's about time we got a bit of luck, we are about due for some, especially in front of goal.

I have a positive feeling about this.

I think we will do it, but it will be one hell of a battle.
