With all the discontent going on at the moment may I suggest a peaceful protest,

Support the team for the last 3 home games hoping we can get enough points to stay up,

BUT

When the last home game against Notts County is finished refuse to leave your seat,

Stay put until Fenty comes out and says he is leaving,

Don't forget to take your flasks and sandwiches. :)

Right Pete so you stay in bed until we tell you its OK to get up. Tell the physios at Weat Suffolk who will no doubt be giving you shite about walking that it is a protest being held up in GY

Glad you have got a date for your op at last mate but you could have waited until after FGR game in case Jolley picked you for the team (the teams he's picking at the moment I reckon you had a good chance of at least getting on the bench!) ;)

I won't be able to get out of that ground quick enough after the last game. This season can't end too soon for me.

Neither will staying away I am afraid

Fenty sees the fans as an inconvenience you stop going will not make him put any more money into the club,

It will just reduce the amount of money in the managers budget,

Meaning we will have to settle for more useless showers wearing the once proud shirt.

BUT

If that what the majority wants then stay away.

Fenty will still be there shaking hands with the fans that do go.

For God's Sake we need to be backing the team. There are weeks and weeks in the summer to protest, but we need to retain our precious FL place that we can never take for granted.

Hope your operation goes as well as Operation Promotion did  :)

The real reason attendances will be down next season will be due to bullies like yourself.

Now that would be an original attack on the fans by the club... Oh wait.

No protest for me it will not solve anything but make us feel even more miserable.

If we drop down season ticket sales will do more than any half-hearted protest during the most important games of the season will.

No games in the Summer though.

Not that I'm advocating protesting during the games.

If Rob had read my post he would have seen I said support the team for the next 3 home games KM,,

Then AFTER the Notts County game has finished REFUSE to leave your seat in protest,

I know not many agreed it was a good idea but I wish people would stop misquoting by saying things I never said,

I said SUPPORT the team until the last home game has finished .

Sh1t idea how about we get behind the team till the very end and try help keeping the club in the league ffs then let’s worry about fenty in the summer some people seriously need to get a f*c*ing grip on here it’s as if people genuinely want our club to fail !!! yes fenty is massively to blame over what has happened this season and in Many previous seasons which we all know about but to suggest this at this time of the season is a joke the club needs as many supporters as possible at the minute not distraction !!!

Are you thick or what ?

Read my posts again SUPPORT THE TEAM UNTIL THE END OF THE LAST HOME GAME,

Do you think making a protest will effect anything at FGR ?

ANYWAY WE WILL BE SAFE BY THEN.

Definitely not thick, but what I am saying is I don’t think it should be done till the summer until we find out what league we are in....in my opinion it’s a distraction.

Look at the other thread on here fenty out or our league status you will see the votes which tells you what’s most important at the minute this is why I am saying I don’t believe it’s the right time I am fully with the majority who want fenty out but we need to stay up first and not have any distractions at all UTM

Sorry about that mate I should not have started name calling,

My thinking is this, if you wait until the season is finished where are you going to protest ?

We have 3,000 STH at the moment and even if we survive no more than 2,000 will renew by all counts,

That will not bother Fenty the crowd will just have no Fenty out fans so he can sit there is peace,

All it does is give Jolley less money to bring better players in,

So we end up resigning most of this squad,

Is that what you want ?

So do I but if there is no money in the pot Jolley might have to resign a few more,

I really hope that does not happen.

I wish people would look at the bigger picture,

Not going will not drive Fenty out in fact he will be happy if all the Fenty Out brigade stay away,

The only thing that will work imo  is too keep putting him under pressure and he will crack.

I don’t know where we go from here. But I do know relegation from the league once is unfortunate, but relegation twice and so soon after the promotion shows a complete lack of competency throughout the club. So much has to change.

This is no consolation but though they went up a season before us Barnet look like they’ll be returning to non league as well so we are not the only ones who have failed miserably.

I think you are well wide of the mark personally Pete.Historically on Fentys watch when the crowd drops he gets an itchy trigger finger. The mood in the Town at present is one of real anger to going down but trying to back the players and pulling off a miracle. No way well the fans just mutely accept another relegation and only Fenty coming out and spending real money in the Summer could save him now? Personally I think it`s a bridge to far and his position is untenable but that`s largely upto him.His character suggests he will stay put and repeat the same old same old that`s what he does.Well goodluck with that John.

Exactly 1ML he got MJ in as he was desperate to work in the pro game as a manager and would put up with having to work with meagre resources.

I think the player recruitment might look similar especially when MJ talked about living 1 hour away from BP which would suggest another lack of quality.

They average less than half our crowds though, so their failure is nowhere near as miserable.

Agree, it's clear that staying away would make a difference although it would also affect the club in the short term. The board truly believe that it is a minority of fans who want them gone, they see the stable attendances as proof of this. If in the summer we sell 1/3 of the season tickets we did for this season then that will show them in no uncertain terms that they are not supported and they'll finally realise their position is untenable without real and dramatic change in the way they operate.

Fenty only cares about money, that has been shown time and time again. A significant drop in revenue will soon see him questioning whether he wants to be involved for much longer.

Mariner91 you are right.  But there is no reasoning with dictators.

They believe their own publicity.   Assuming there was a big drop in season tickets, Fenty would rationalise this by thinking (or saying) that some fans had bullied others into not renewing season tickets.  A win win for him, in his distorted view of reality.

That makes our current situation even more frustrating. What don't you understand about it John? We are loyal to the club in spite of you NOT because of you.
