Forget all these posts by big Chris and anyone else who thinks that turning up and paying at bp is a good idea . I said months ago that the only way to affect fenty is to hurt him in his pocket . It's the only power fans have . The question is have the fans got the balls to boycott ? It's not jolleys fault at all , keep him out of this but fenty needs to realise that he isn't in control . THE FANS ARE IN TOTAL CONTROL IF THEY WANT IT

Do you have a few quid on us getting relaheted fleabag? Cos I reckon trying to cause a 0 attendance will help with that enormously

Well it's clearly a misspelling of relegated- but you knew that and just wanted, for whatever reason to be pedantic

If we go down after just coming back up I can see the club doing a York and maybe worse.
Still confident In other teams being more shite  than us if that's possible.

Unless you want us to get relegated turn up and support the team fook Fenty,

We need or Jolley needs all the help he can get with this shower,

If we go down it will be the end of Fenty anyway

Going over from Sweden to see next 3 matches. I will always continue to support Grimsby Town. I really do not want us to go down. Compared to Coventry, their players were taller, faster, more skilled. I still have hopes for friday.

I have been too one game since cov at home . It's a free world I can do that . I just can't stand all these posts moaning about fenty etc when the answer is clear . I have given 40 years to the club so don't start patronising me with the , how often do you watch comments , pathetic at best

I am entitled to moan, I have a season ticket for 40 seasons through thin and thin................... :) :)  Saying that, I have never seen us on our knees like we are at the moment.  We all know who is to blame.  I could not believe the fans reaction to Jolley when he was appointed.  He had no pedigree whatsoever, and having just listened to his interview with David Burns, he has no more idea than Coco the Clown Slade and Sergeant Wilko.  If you want to survive in this division............ EMPLOYER A PROPER EXPERIENCED MANAGER FFS.....

Since Jolley has been in charge we got a point from Port Vale and lost to two good teams away from home. I shall be waiting till we play an average team at home before I start panicking because as far as I can see even though we’ve been beaten convincingly away there are improvements. I still think we’ll stay up and Barnet are losing 2-0 at the mo👍

I am 100% against Fenty, always have been, always will be.  He has been a dictator at this club and has dragged us kicking and screaming down the leagues.  It will be a great day when Fenty is replaced at this club.

Improvements.............  ruddy hell, can you explain where these improvements are....  We was lucky as hell to take a point off Port Vale, to my way of thinking Jolley has added nothing to Town's plight so far.

This is massively illogical at best. What you seem to be saying is that you're allowed to always e press you opinion but that any other people who disagree with you are impinging your right to free speech and battering you. With an attitude like this have you considered a move to Russia?

We tried an experienced manager, he was called Slade. Didn't work, lazy management. Personally I can see some individual improvement in terms of playing Clifton mcallister etc but he has been left with a squad of epic dross, truly awful beyond belief

Now is not the time for this surely

It doesn't matter if we don't like the board or rate the players or managers team selections or blame the recently sacked regime.
We've just gotta pray we stay up and let this guy have a chance to rebuild us.

It's not about pro or anti JF at the moment. I have a season ticket, so it won't matter a jot if i go or not  for the rest of the season. I'm hoping we will somehow escape and Friday will tell us where we are at in terms of progress since MJ arrived, against a side we have a better chance against. Got to stick it out until the end of the season now and see what happens. Doesn't make me happy at our situation.

If you are a fan then the most important thing right now is survival. Off the field antics affect the team so right now get behind them and help grind out results to keep us up.

This is more important than your anti Fenty agenda which will not get us anywhere but back in the conference.

Support the team until we are safe or relegated, then you can have your say.

To be honest and despite the score line I definitely did see improvements today. We more than matched Coventry for the first 45 minutes. But in my opinion two things made the difference. Firstly, the all-important first goal knocked the stuffing out of us. It’s easy to forget that the players confidence must be decimated after the last 3 months. They did come out and play with self-belief, but when they fall behind they just crumble. At 3 nil down the mistakes they were making, although understandable, were embarrassing. Secondly, we just don’t seem to have anyone to stick it in the back of the net. Yes, I know we score in the reserves, but the pressure just isn’t there when playing in the reserves.
So, confidence shot to threads and nobody who looks capable of scoring in open play. These indeed are worrying times.
I realise I’ve just gone off thread, but this is definitely not the time for a boycott. FFS they need all the support we can muster! Ive managed to convince 3 family members to come along on Friday. Every little helps.

See what ye mean mate but to late for that now. May as well pack out the Park and see what happens.
Hopefully we will still be a league team next season and Fenty hasn’t done the right thing and walked away then everyone can boycott Season tickets.
If there are no season tickets sold he will have to go or put some serious money into the club(something he hasn’t done for donkeys years)

It may be a massive cliche but in this instance I really think the next game is the most important of this season. We will see if the perceived improvements are real or not against a team with little to play for. If we win,  and I think we will,  then that's the mini kick start we need to ensure our safety. A defeat would, for me, pretty much signal certain relegation. I just don't think there would be enough in the tank to get us over the line.  A draw would leave us still guessing I suppose but it would be the nature of the draw that would be all important in that scenario.
Let's face it, we didn't expect a lot from the last 2 games (although I thought the derby performance would have had a lot more grit and determination about it) We've actually lost the last 3 games 8-2 (only kept down to single figures by Macca's heroics against Vale.) A defeat against Stevenage will be the death knell I'm sad to say.

The best way to get rid of fenty is pack BP , get the points necessary to support the team to stay up and use a full house on the last home game to hound him out by whatever means . His reign of shame has to end this season .

If you’re reading this John Boy it’s time up , lights out .

We’ve had enough.

Totally agree Louth. But we cant win to be honest. If we manage to stay up ive no doubt that Fenty will stay and if we dont stay up..........

Course we have to support the team for the rest of the season. A boycott now would be counter productive.

However, if that man is in any way involved at any level then I will not be attending at BP. With him in charge, we can never succeed so I'd rather go round B and Q on a Saturday or go to the pub. If we are relegated, I am done whatever.

Boycotts are for next season if we get relegated.

It's probably 50/50 if we go down. It's possible that with Suliman coming back, Mcsheffrey, Wilks, Jackson and Mcallister getting game time we might improve enough to scrape some home wins.

I think 7 points will be enough (6 points if the two wins are Barnet and Chesterfield). But as fans not much we can do now.

In all my 35 years being a town fan I’ve never felt such a real anti board feeling from the fans . It’s got to such a vile place that the fans cannot forgive fenty for his BS . The contempt and mismanagement has gone beyond a joke .
The ironic thing is he’s driven so many fans away there wont be the numbers to protest against him when there should be so many .

It’s time for the loyalists to beg their mates to come back and wrestle GTFC back from the brink

we've done this once before, wrestled the club back from the brink, it was called ACTION 88,   but this time, i'm afraid the club is stuck with Fenty, unless  his control is bought out.   With a smaller fan base, revenues and budgets will decrease, and standards will fall, and inevitably GTFC could go the same way has York, Stockport etc.

Agreed  I am total home support this season, if we go down will still support but no season ticket and if no chance of promotion would not bother going for the first time in 40 years. For the first time in my life I do not listen to away commentaries and cannot get any enthusiasm back. Sad days for town fans urm
