Wow! So similar in many ways. And yet so different in others.

How the intercourse are they losing so much money? How the intercourse have they got/had so many suitors to take over the club when we haven't? Are they really that much more of an enticing prospect?

Here's one major difference. 'He holds himself accountable for the club’s predicament.' He hasn't realised it's the fans fault yet. Fenty'll put him right at the League jamboree in Portugal though, if we're both still in the League that is.

It's really all about location and potential to expand in the area. Well that and willingness to walk away and let somebody fully take over without clinging to power and only being willing to sell if it means maintaining control of the direction of the club.

With Fenty the club has only moved in one direction.

A couple of things came to my attention

One was about Gavin Gunning

John Rudge had advised to speak to Gavin Gunning a month before and he wanted the defender to stay. But if they had paid Gunning what he wanted there would have been a “rebellion”

I wonder how much he was looking to be on?

The other one was about the trouble when they played us

The FA has been in touch over the trouble at the Grimsby match but the outcome is unknown

At least they've made a statement of sorts....

Perhaps where he ended up says it all....

£38:75 ..... none of the team thought he was worth more than his current £27:50 so had hinted at a strike if Mad Dog got his way
