Jackson can't be fit or he'd be included wouldn't he?

An actual reserve game that might actually take place, with actual reserve players? There's a novelty.

And if he's still not fit then he's barely figured in this vital run-in, along with the crocked for the season Vernam. How does the loan system work again? Can we not bring in an emergency loan player in to replace current loan players who won't figure again this season and have had their loans effectively canceled?

Hopefully Dembele can begin to work his way back with thus run out and show MJ what he can potentially do. McAlister in there too but....pffftt. (Twilight Zone music begins in background)

Without speculating i am wondering whether he is 80% fit and MJ doesn`t want to risk aggravating the injury and would rather have a 90% fit and available for Saturday although i would say there`s more chance of and 80% fit Jackson scoring than a 110% fit Matt...

Emergency loans will only be allowed in a proper emergency, like having no fit keeper. We can't say we have an emergency, when we have enough players to put out two teams with subs.

It's telling that we have so many injuries at the club at the same time and a good portion of them are the loanees. I'm wondering how many injuries there would be if we were fighting for promotion. Promotion chasing sides seem to manage to put out virtually the same 11 every game. Always struck me as odd did that.

What if we just send them a print-out of our form in our last 18 games? :o

I thought that was the case, but yeah, it's been the oddest season all round. Rubbish strikers fit and playing/failing, and 3 young loan strikers who all go out on loan presumably to get fitter end all up injured at the same time...there's no end to this seasons little twists.

As if they've actually used strong as an adjective here  ;D ;D ;D

Wish we had a strong main side.

The heading " strong reserve side "  made me laugh, ;D ;D

How can we have a strong reserve side if the 1st team is so poor ?

I'd have Hooper over Matt - I think Hooper actually has some ability, he just needs to be arsed to show it.

He's scored one less goal than Matt, which is pretty damning.

Yeah Hooper, having played much much less than Matt, only has one less goal than him.

Hooper strikes me, in the little i've seen of him, as more of a goalscorer than most of our other strikers. More likely to finish a chance in and around the box than others.

Please tell me which one of other strikers who you'd rather a chance to fall to in the box?

That's all i meant, not saying he's prolific or is a great player, but more of a finisher than what we've got.

(aside from probably Jackson, who's barely played so i forgot about him)

Hooper and Kelly are still on the subs bench, even with the reserves. Two great signings from Russ.

Quick , sub him now , save him for saturday. We don't want someone who know where the goal is to get injured. ;)

I hope so.

Wilks preferred position is a striker, but he was very impressive on the wing against Cheltenham.

Either way, get him in the starting 11, with DJ & Dembele, and Mcsheffrey, and all off a sudden, we have some trickery and threat on the pitch

Easy now, why go with youthful energy and attacking flair when you have the turgid mediocrity of unmotivated senior pros in the dying embers of their career?

They had to bring her down to Cheapside to show MJ which one Sean was , as no other member of staff could remember.

Yep, two players with another year on their contract can't even get a game for the stiffs. Great work Slade & Wilko.

I think he is the most talented of the three.  But he is also by far the laziest. Now if MJ can get Hoopers head right !!!

If fit Wilks should get a game. I think Mills should play he has energy and passion for the cause. We desperately need Jackson fit for the important home games, likewise Summerfield.
